Help !! can i salvage?

okay.. so I get back from my vacation to find my roomate not only didnt take care of my babies like she said she would....she split on me!! BITCH:finger:. N e ways I have 4 plants I inherited from a friend that were doing great, now all but one (a clone that is barely hanging on) is crispity, crunchity, dead. I have an idea of what she may or may not have done... 1.she unhooked the hanging hood just to take my 600w hps bulb---so i figure no light for about a month or so.
2.the soil is still very damp????
3.little white bugs
in the remaining plant --identify?
I'll charge my batt this morning so i can take pics and post today...so my question is : Is there anything I can do to bring them back maybe by chopping and starting
with the remainder of the stem and roots? is that possible? pls help thanx:wall:

you could try to salvage the one that is still alive, but I would just start over. A month is too long to let somebody watch your grow; especially if they really don't know what they're doing. They might have had a better chance in a hydro system with a low mix (300-400ppm) with lights on timers. You could have pre-mixed some water in gallon jugs and told her that "all you have to do was pour one of these in when the water gets below this line" It usually takes between 3 and 5 months for a good grow, so try not to plan a vacation in that period of time.

ty... how can i jump start the process or better yet protect the one left ? nutrient wise? as far as the root and or stems of the others...they cant be regenerated if i cut it down enough with a lil tlc?

Hey doitinthewoods's reply was absolutley on point! Just start over partner and work your schedule around the operation. Also, since you mentioned you sited some bugs you might want to clean real well and get new soil before starting over. Good luck!!
