help buying a grow tent?

so im looking into buying a 2x4 sized grow tent without buying from overpriced websites, ive seen all kinds of kits that just seem way too pricey and I feel like if I bought the parts separately maybe it would be cheaper than buying a whole kit? I don't know what size fan and carbon filter to buy or how strong of a fan and filter to buy. could someone please refer me to a guide on how to buy parts for your grow tent?

Start here and keep searching for more info on how to finish off your grow tent. Just take it step by step watching the parts. Keep in mind you might want to expand your tent size later... Build it as big as you can for now and make the most of it.

I just got a 3x3x6 off eBay for $52. Price is cheap but tent is durable. It seems small but once u put it together it's actually pretty big.

I would buy it just to save your self the headaches like light leaks etc etc .
