HELP...Busted and Petrafied

Hang in there! I know nothing of Scottish law unfortunately. But I wanted to give you a word of encouragement from the Western US.

omg. i feel for ya buddy but i'm way across the pond. if it's any consulation i think you will only get a harsh fine and maybe weekends in jail. if at all. i think you'll be ok don't throw in the towel yet.

i am stateside as well... keep your chin up and try to stay positive and focused, talk to your lawyer... stay updated on whats going on, look up similar cases and history of this around your area... panicking won't do you any good, gl m8 keep us informed

Maybe if you got a physician to testify that mj helps with your epilepsy that might help. I from the USA so I dont know what asinine laws they have in the UK. I do wish you the best and dont freak out too much, there isnt much you can do except maybe a good attorney or a physician.

I would do just this.
Hope you get a open minded judge, bring a few medical journals on health benefits from cannabis to treat epilepsy.
present that to the court and hope for the best. Plenty of good information around. Can hook ya up with a few links if necessary.

I am sure once they realize you have been keeping a low profile and hanging around the house they will drop the case.

Honestly though, we have the best medical marijuana license around, not counting the States now. lol.

Expect a big fine and nothing more your not going to prison for growing a little bit of bud.

Something I must ask. If you were growing using CFL's, and a small space; how in the world did you get busted? Doesn't Scotland law require a warrant to search or bust down a door? Oh geez this topic is making my blood boil.

I was wondering this as well, I read he was living in a flat, so maybe the landlord busted him

thanks for support folks its good ti know theres so many folk that understand, a mean this whole ordeals making me feel like av done somethin terrible, yet again av only had an hour or so sleep, my lawyers closet appointment with me is next friday there is no doubt about it that cannabis was my medicine. since this happened iv had zero weed and 4 fits. i haven't had that many in such a lose space of time for about a year.

As for them finding out i really dont have a clue, the only thing i could think of I liv in a tower block on the 15th floor, its a bad area, and the police are for ever all over the block of flats. I was aware ther was a slight smell during flower but mostly when walking in my door, however a couple of months back as i was coming out the lift walking towards my door a random junkie started describing how he thought the smell coming fi my door was gr8 and was trying ti warn me that council folk had been sniffing aboot, (shuld have listened to him) important to say aswell these flats and landings are very cramped, iv also ignored the door being tapped many times, and a council worker who wanted to visit. so they might be my faults. (however i do hav a nervous social problem and dont like answering the door)

it was the drug squad that busted me and they produced a warrant to search premises. very humiliating could hear them laughing whiles searching. they then detained and took us to polis station. all the time they wer pushing to find oot if I deal then my girlfriend told me they wer questioning her all aboot if i gave her it (which i dont) etc.

im kind of a genuine hippy, obsessed with folk medicine due to my experience with the help cannabis gives me, whilst searching they would have found my many other normal herbs, books on folk medicine, books on foraging, books on herbs, plants, my essential oils etc im hopen if they wer using my flat to build a character profile on me they would see how innocent i am. i never go out cant drink, they also seemed impressed with my musical instruments kept complimenting me having a banjo and ukulele, it was kind of anoying the way they wer trying to be friendly without taking into account they wer turning my world more upside down than it allready is.

i'm down in wales mate and know the laws are different but i really wouldn't worry yourself over it mate, they probably had reports about smells coming from the property and thought they had a large grow in their sights, that might explain why they were laughing having previously geared up for a big bust. i can't imagine you getting much grief over a couple of little plants being grown in a box, i reckon a few hours community service at the worst
