I actually heard of the coke on the back. It's not inhumane, the coke wears off in a couple of days then they can fly again.

most bugs will typically find shelter and protection from other bugs underneath the leaves and eat thru from the bottom up, spray what you wish but be sure to hit underneath the leaves ... peace
