Hello everyone. I had this issue last week so I sprayed my plant down with some sevin. It seemed to work for a day or two but the buggers came back. Can ya'll think of anything else I can use to keep these buggers off?

The picture of the stem appears to be "dung" of some sort. It is very dark around the bottom of the stem as opposed to the top (where the picture was taken). Any imput would be great. Thanks guys.- YuP1

This always worked for me so here goes NICOTINE SPRAY!!!!

Get either a bunch of ciggerette butts or a pinch of smokeless tobacco. Soak in a glass of warm water for a day or 2 (if using the snuff, put in a tea bag). Then put that in a spray bottle and add a little more water.

Spray on your babies and watch the magic! The nicotine kills any bugs that are on the plant when sprayed, and when they die they leave carcasses that will disease and kill any more bugs that come along. Spray a few days in a row for ultimate effect.

that tobacco one sounds like it would work well. You can also brew up some garlic in a spray bottle, just let it sit for little while. Also soap works too. Anything with a gnarly smell or man made. My plant is only like 2 inches tall and got chomped on already... fuckin bugs

Nicotine is said to kill thc and possibly the plant, I would recommend not using it. Google is your friend.

I would use an organic bug killing soap, much safer then insecticides and is inexpensive, most hardware and garden stores will have some.

Spray it with Neem oil and a drop of dish detergent or you can go with Azamax foliar feed and or add to nutrients when you water.

yea man nicotine is poison!!!! I dont even touch my plants after a bogey w/o a real good cleaning. Dont do it, safer is good, neem is also good, azamax works wonders. Damn nicotine can enter your blood stream right thru your capillaries (how chewing tobacco works) and it alter ur genes, p53, which will now not allow the cells to properly die, you will effectively give your plant cancer, mutations and death.

IF its indoor get some lady bugs, but dont foget to leave them fresh water.

If outdoor use a spray that will kill them and but is safe to inhail. If you have a huge operation get some bats, and combo up with some sprays.

I'm testing out a homemade spray as we speak. I sprayed it on one leaf yesterday. I'll go check on it tomorrow. Ill let you know and leave the recipe if its all good.
I know it will keep bugs away, but I don't know if it will harm the plant or not.
