Cheers yeah im just going to keep an eye on the temps and see how they get on. Im going away tommorow morning and will be back sunday evening hopefully so that will stop me fussing lol

As funny as that is, I don't want this guy to go adding table salt to his plants and kill them all.
Table salt is sodium chloride. Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. They are not remotely similar chemically, nor do they do remotely similar things for your plants. Table salt is lethal to most plants even in relatively small doses, while epsom salt is a good additive if your plants are low on magnesium.
The word "salt" means a very different thing in chemistry than it does in common English.
