Help!!!!!!!! Accidentally broke off a branch!!!!!!......

HELLO FRIENDS!!! I NEED SOME HELP HERE!!!:wave:

Whilst in the process of picking off some of the yellow leaves on one of my 3 pretty dang healthy, flowering outdoor clones, (JUST BEGINNING FULL-FLOWERING PHASE):D

I managed to SNAP one of the branches at the base of the stem pretty bad... Bad enough that it went limp and hung on the cage by a thread...so I cut it off completely... (TWAS IN THE MIDDLE REGION OF THE PLANT):eek:

...I know now that i could have probably left it hanging and it would have most likely HEALED ITSELF but I was wondering if that by removing it, this may allow for heavier,denser/higher yield/overall quality on my UPPER COLAS as well as allowing MORE SUN to hit the LOWER LEAVES and BRANCHES

..the branch that snapped was looking real good & had several bud spots and was steadily gaining some weight as it in the beginning to full flower...it is unfortunate that I removed it but will it work out for the better in the long run????!!

No problem, just think of it as "lower canopy maintenance". You don't need all those small branches growing popcorn bud; it's a major pain in the ass to trim and it just takes away energy that could be diverted to your main cola(s).

When this happens to me ill try to doctor it with a dried stem and 2 pieces of hempstring. Placing the dried stem opposite of the bend and propping it up then tie it, If its only connected by the outer fibres, it will not heal just by leaving it hang. This method has worked for me everytime even when its hanging on by a thread.
If it doesn't stay well or bend back easily ill just take it as a clone but more often than not ill repair it.

You might need some assistance as well...it makes things go smoother ^_^

Did you know that a 100 year old olive branch, dry as a shuck, just a stick, broken off of an olive tree, can be successfully grafted back into the tree and it will revive? Nothing short of miraculous.

No, it wont be better in the long run, but it will be fine. Also, if your branches.are.breaking off by pulling a leafe.off, you need cal mag and nitrogen

So now my plant is going to overcome the loss of a limb and begin to redirect her energy to focus on bigger more important colas? is that what happens? and how?:?::lol:

the plant is fine, i pulled a yellow leaf and it lodged the stem up against the tomato cage and it snapped...the plants are super healthy.... here are some pics from this past week...

The plant that it happend to is the smaller bushy one in the smaller black bucket:
