Hi All,
I'm an experienced grower but I made a bad decision in switching soil. Don't ask me why or tell me that when you want to make a change, only change one grid or a few plants. I just need to get this round out and get back to my old school routine that was working really well. Don't ask me why I changed. I guess I needed a little excitement!
So I'm at week four flower and I've got Blue CHeese and Pandora's box which I grew from seed. Another scary decision. But I digress...
The soil I got was very HOT. When I gave a first (and only at this point) feeding, my runoff was 2300!! I flushed and have only been using plain PH water since then. Today my runoff is at 800-1000ppm. Buds look healthy, nice white hairs, but many upper leaves are turning yellow, or brown and crispy and some are curling up. I'm thinking this is due to the initial over nute-ing and they are still getting some "flashbacks" from this over abundance of nutes. I don't want to feed because they look stressed and since the runoff is still at a decent level, I'm thinking they don't need it.
To remedy I have given them Clearex a couple times and Superthrive every watering. Also liquid seaweed once a week.
Please give me your feedback fellas (and women, if you are reading this, you are welcome as well of course).
Thanking you in advance with gratitude and love,
GG
