Hi,

my first time using this site.

My set up is 600w digi ballast, Tent(1.2 by 1.2 by 2m tall), 4x nft gti tanks, 1 plant in each tank.

Im in need of help as i am on my first grow. I vegged for 5 weeks and im on my 6th week of flower. For the last 2 weeks i have been using BigBud and after checking my trichomes and they are still clear!? Is this normal?, do i just need to keep flowering for another week or so? Im aware i have made the mistake of not adding my OverDrive which i will be adding first thing tomorow morning and using for atleast a week.

Is it normal for the trichomes to be clear after 6 weeks of flower? The strain is just normal UK cheese.

I do have some slight yellowing of some leaves and in places alot of tip burn. There are significant buds and some of the hairs are just starting to orange.

If any more info is required polease ask and any information will be greatly appreciated

oh really, i was advised by many people to veg for 6wks and flower for 6 and then flush and dry. So the flowering period is alot longer than 6 wks?

p.s, thanks for the quick reply

if it is a cheese cross then plan on 9-11 weeks of flower. there are very, very few strains that finish under 7 weeks and some take 13-15 weeks.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Just been expecting round the back of the tent and found a few webs (spider mite maybe), think i might just do a week of OverDrive and a week of flush and cut my loses rather than risk any further complican, would you guys say that would be an okay move?

Its been a great learning curve and i cant wait to get my second grow on

cutting your losses now doesn't make sense. if you want to grow another run, finish this one properly. fight the spider mites, they will plague your next round if your don't get them under control. and do you want potent bud or just something to smoke.

I'd be more surprised if they were cloudy at 6 weeks, and yellowing leaves at this stage in a plants life is generally quite normal as well...
Chill out and continue waiting...nearly there! ;)

i got 1 that is about 2 months old and almost done, and i got some 8.5 weeks flowering and still have 2-5 weeks left.but that one almost done seems like it's gonna be the best out of all plants and is gonna finish wayyyy b4 the rest and it sprouted a month after.

Yea I agree don't panic let your girls do their thing . U need to fix your mite issue right away their are plenty of products out there find one safe to use on flowering plants .. Don't ignore the mites..

SNS 217 for spider mites. I have used this with much success outdoors. If it works outdoors, it should work indoors. It's completely safe to your plants.
