I stand corrected. To be honest I've never weighed my harvest wet. What use is that?dry weight should be more like 1/4 of your wet weight.
4oz wet = 1oz dry
1lb wet = 4oz dry
ect...
help 3 weeks in flowering but buds seem tiny

what medium are you using ?? if its coco then ok foods are ok but if your in normal soil peat etc then you may find that the foods your using are not suitable.
i had a friend who grew in soil using the "monkey juice " from advanced nuts and they are stella ffor coco but not for soil they did what your plants are doing now.
if you are in a soil then look around as many companies do "for soil versions" of there nutes such as ionic, canna and a few othrs.

oh finally if you grew from seed they do show slower than if you had ben workin from a cutting but three weeks there should be more so there is a problem for sure

You want to go to Radio Shack (or equivalent) and pick up a microscope that will allow you to see your trichs. When the trichs are 95+% cloudy, it's harvest time.
When they turn amber it's narcotic time...if you want a more narcotic, sleepy high, then you should let them go until about 30% are amber.
If you go to harvesting/curing there is someone that asks this question everyday and someone else who posts a pic of what you're looking for.
Do you have anymore update pics on your grow? I'm kinda involved now...I want to see your progress

I'm not sure how strong the magnification NEEDS to be to get a clear picture, but I use 100x and it's a great little view.
I would fear that a regular magnifying glass would be somewhere in the 20x-30x range and you might not get what you are looking for.
laserburn you may not have seen my updateed pics on page 13-14 check it out see what you think of there progrees as those pics are 5 weeks in i will post some more pics as soon as i get my camera back as they are at the end of week 6 now and will be in week 7 from today the big bang is a 9 weeker 3 more weeks to go will flus a week and a half towards finish and the haze a 10-11 weeker they both started at the same time

i like to get my cost per gram on every grow, i think its just one more satisfying part of growing. its satisfying just growing anything, its satisfying having good smoke, and its satisfying knowing that it cost less than $2 a gram to grow.
i figure nutes, electricity, medium, and a percentage of epuipment cost.

ya i just wish the wife would see it that way. but she does not smoke she use to years ago so you think she would understand where i'm coming from when i tell her i need this and i need and would love to have one more 1000 watt hps, but i think she is going to give the o k for two 600wtt hps. its just like what you said and i've old her in order to get satisfaction we have to spend some money.

my camera phone not been returned yet so havent got any new pics but will have in a couple days
they have fattened up now and are quite frosty the calyx have swelled to an extent they look frosty also
now im edging to the final few weeks
on cannas websit it says to use flowering nute and canna boost till the end ?? so they are saying not to flush or what help please???
also as im in soil in ten litre pots full how many litres of water would i need to flush these and do i chuck the runoff down the sink if i do flush or let the plant soak it up sorry im confused
does the plant show signs of when i should be flushing it like say when 80% of the hairs have turned orange/red??
or if im going for 50% cloudy/50%amber trichs should i flush once trichs have gone cloudyish???

not to worry then youll seem growth increase in the next week or so
my advise is use some advanced nuts boosts aswell like big bud week 2-5 and overdrive 5-8

Audi, they really pack it on in the last two weeks... I watch the pistol growth, once most of the PISTOLS have ambered, they will chunk up, and the trichromes will go from clear and transparent, to cloudy and white... You can see this with the naked eye. They will look like sugar coated instead of crystal covered... This is when you'll want to flush.
For your 10L pots, I'd use 10L of water because I never get the nutes to a toxic level, but some say 2-5 times the container size... So 20-50 liters. (This is more for an emergency flush)
Just collect the runoff, and check the TDS... You can use anything to collect runoff, actual collectors for plant containers, pie plates, anything.
Once they start to slightly amber, I harvest, I don't like narcotic weed...
Go look at the harvesting curing section for some pics.

Personally, I grow with 600W lights, and would LOVE to be using 1000Ws...
Just get the 1000Ws, and scratch off the wattage, tell her they're 600s...
My buddy switched from 600s to 1000s and gets 2 pounds per light... I'm still getting just over a pound a light on 600s...
It seems like a waste of effort, when I could nearly double the output with a higher wattage.

also if i look at them in the dark the attached microscope light give off and orange glow
so i took the bulb out looked at em under the hps light and low and behold i could see there actuall colour its just some people said look at them without the hps light on as it gives the trichs an orange glow but it worked for me as most of my trichs are 70% clear 25% cloudy5% amber
