help 1 quick question

i have 3 plants that are 20 days into flowering and have shown signts of female they have 4 hairs on almost every split on the plants but thay just dont seem to be flowering, i put them into flowering at about 1 foot,,, in the last 20 days they have grown to over 3 foot and are huge plants but not flowering very well they are in hydro set up using rapid bloom part a and b and on the 12/12 cycle they get fed 3 times a week

the size is enormous but just not flowering like i say they have thet white hairs on every branch but they came after 5 days on 12/12 no change since other than plant size

the look healthy as hell so dont know what the problem is... i dont know what the strain is as i got them of a friend as chlones

there under a 600w hps lamp and have fan on them 24/7

plz help asap

thats all i can say is its gotta be the strain, and you gotta be patient, talk to your buddy who gave u the clones... idk all the way... but maybe it will all be worth it...

i know it some times takes time just see people on here with decent buds at 14 days and so on ... just was a quick question make sure everything is ok,

is it a good thing them taking longer to bud does that mean better strain ????

nope... it means its a slow growing strain...

Speed of grow means little, as long as its harvested at the right time it will be good... just sucks urs is taking soo long.

I have had them start flowering before 12/12...I have had them start showing sex as soon as I switched to 12/12 and I have had some that took forfuckingever to show sex...some of this growing shit is just random...but I doubt it will have an effect on potentcy...

also with ethem being like 3 foot will they carry on growing cos i heard they can tripple in seze from flowering and they have already more than trippled... im ok for space just a quick question... also they have had los of falk branches and its like they have 5,6,7 main branches aswell as the centre stem

when they start budding they will slow down as far as size goes...all of their energy goes into the buds...

day 22 flowering

still not got any more buddy.... just have 2 wait... still getting taller touching 4 foot now lol ... there in hydro set up

3 more questions

*is it normal for 3 plants to go threw 4lrt+ water every 24 hours

*how often cn you feed as im using rapid bloom part a and b and it says 4ml for every ltr im using about a 20-25ltr res and usual add a cap full off part a and cap full of part b every 24 hours or 48 is this ok ... plants have no marks what so ever and to be honst i have never seen plans as healthy just wondering if im feeding enough with them not flowering yet

* my timer broke 2 weeks ago so im turning light on and off manualy so there is some times 5-10 mins off the 12/12 cycle my self i can see 5-10mins mattering 2 much but curiouse with slow budding

the amount of water depends on temps in your grow area...I usually feed my plants every time I water, I usually use a lot less than the label calls for...if are over feeding they will look burned/sickly etc...if you are under feeding you will have red/purple stems...you can find more thorough stuff in growfaqs...
I doubt 5-10 minutes will matter, but I would get a new timer...
you need to practice that photography a little...:mrgreen:

plants look realy healthy no purple stems no spots just green green green leafs.....

just unuslay for a plant to be over 4 weeks into flowering and still no buds only the 2 white hairs eitehr side .... there just growing silly fast every 1 says will slow down but if anything increasing ,,,, they have gone from 1-4 foot in the 3 weeks of flowering its crazy

mine are doing the same for the most part- what your describing is not at all unusual to anyone on this site...

Have you looked at others journals.... its really the best way to learn... these questions could be answered easily- plus you would get a lot of good ideas...

there all females they were clones checked on them today last 12 hours they went threw 4 ltr water again lol feeding them daily and some the buds are showing a little more now.....

2 more questions

the roots are now almost 2 feet cani trim them down to one foot or not now there in flowering ?

does using 13 hours light 11 hours dark slow budding but increase yeald

I have not ever heard of cutting the roots...personally I would not do that...
there used to be a guy here that experimented with lights and times and found that it made no difference at all...

DO NOT trim your roots. not a good idea if you are flowering. it sounds to me like you have a sativa dominant strain. they grow a lot when placed into flowering, and generally have longer flowering times than indica dominant strains. just be patient, and all will work out in the end :peace:
