My name is Joy. I have been smoking since 1975. Growing off and on since the 80s. I live on top of a mountain in the woods and I am a pot head. I have grown kids and grandkids and a whole bunch of animals. I am an organic gardender for over 20 years. That just about sums me up.
I have 8 little plants growing right now and this is the first time I have ever really sought out information online or in any of the forums or anywhere really. I learned to grow from my late husband. These plants are my first from purchased seed and I am really worried I will kill them, or screw up their buds or something crazy will happen like a spider mite infestation or some such shit.
Yeah I worry a lot these days. I almost wish I had never looked at some of the stuff I have read. Too much information. When did growing weed become so complicated? What happened to horse shit and top soil?? LOL!

You're not alone. And as an organic gardener I believe you are ahead of most of the crazy around here. Trust your gut on your grows and the help. Help abounds between who knows.

I do. Sometimes it gets me into situations but I still do it. I have been called brutally honest. But try never to be hurtful and I do know when to shut up.

Hello Joy, nothing changes at all.
Just the amount of information, increased a lot. Put your seed on the ground, water and wait.
Just like tomatoes. Like 70's.
Would love to do it over a mountain...

Ah yes, mountain life is GREAT. I live in Tennessee. I was pretty remote, in the last few years it's getting more populated but I am still out in the woods a good ways. I have 6 acres here. I garden and I raise miniature Dachshunds. I have 2 horses, rescue dogs and cats that people drop off annually.
Still clearing the land closest to the house 13 years into it. I won't even consider cutting my lumber. Only clearing what I have to in order to grow my garden of Eden.

Yeah, people are moving from big cities, including myself. During pandemics that song "Run to the Hills" made real sense...
Such a gift living out of the crowds!

Hello there Joy. Enjoyed reading your little story. I'm new to growing and the amount of info out there can be overwhelming. the best advice I can give u is to not over complicate things and find out what suits u. all the best
