Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm new to the forum as well but I have been growing for many decades. So, I'm not new into growing our wonderful plant which, in my opinion, should be legalized in every country around the world.
I suppose you still have your beans in their original packaging. Who is the breeders and what is the name of the strains? Some old strains are real collectors items and are very hard to find these days. Especially if they have been stored properly.

If breeding make sure you breed under proper fullspectrum lighting or outside: modern leds have very bad coverage of any light outside 450-660nm. Breeding with shitty leds your likely to miss out on genetic traits that doesnt get triggered by missing uv or deep reds.

In my opinion, fluorescent tubes is ok in the vegetative phas (24/0) but in the flowering phas (12/12) is better to ONLY use HPS with the right spectrum. Philips flowering HPS is excellent. 400 Watt HPS/squaremeter.

Whatever floats your boat:) 400w hps does sound a little low on wattage to me though, and CMH has excellent spectrum for both flower and veg. As for leds in flower: they work fine but need tighter environmental controls and often adding some heat to make up for infra red. Though most current led lights are hyper focused on efficiency and intensity; they usually dont have UV or use any but the most electrical efficient diodes which sometimes means the plant wont work optimally but you can solve this fairly easily by building your own led light.

Det verkar som vi ar i samma region, södra Sverige. Om du nagonsin vill kika pa riktiga flower leds sa hor av dig:)
