Hello from Washington state

Hey there.. I live in Washington state...

I help produce Seattle Hempfest every year, since 2009.

I have mixed feelings about the recreational law here, 502. On the one hand, it's great that people can walk into a store and pick up some cannabis. On the other hand, it's actually made it harder for medical cannabis patients to obtain the medicine that fits their needs.

I'm hoping we can restore medical to what it was in this state, before the Liquor (And Cannabis) Control Board did a hostile take over of medical...

Hempfest is August 18-20th of this year if you're near Seattle! Come down and get educated and watch some bands!

I hear what your saying. I'm new here today too (RIU), in Montana all we have is medical, which for me personally is fantastic.
It was just a couple short years ago I walked into a dispensary in Spokane, and began my new life. So, for that I am damn thankful for the recreational dispensaries. If I hadn't been able to buy legally, I would probably still be an alcoholic today!
Fast forward to today, being that medical is the only legal weed in Montana, and I must add, the rules and new system they have I think can be a really good model to follow, as it seems to be a great program. I went two years sneaking back and forth into Washington until I finally got my card. Anyone listening, please don't wait that long! Just the dirty dishonest guilt feelings are worth being free of, if you are like me.
Any way, I think people are starting to get it.
