Hegiht befor bud???

my plants are under a 1000 watt.. how high should i let them grow before i switch over to bud? id like them to grow as tall as possible but dont know how tall they will grow when i switch them to bud.. im growing in a 7 foot tall 6 foot wide grow box.. my plants are 2 1/2 tall and 1 1/2 wide

i would switch now mate, they will double if not triple in height during flowering.

all that really matters is not out growing your grow area....keep in mind that most plants will stretch when they go into flower and can sometimes triple in size the first 3-4 weeks of flower...so if you flower now....and this is just guessing...they should grow to about 5 1/2 foot tall...which with your 1k light you should still have enough space between your plant tops and your lights...and if they grow to tall can always suppercrop them

thanks guys ... wow i had no idea they grew that much during bloom.. i thought the bud just started growing and that was it haha... so how much can i roughly expect from each plant? im using 5 gal DWC and have 5 plants.. plus using advanced nutes

Indicas will grow 50% to 100% bigger through flower sativas will grow 100% to 300% bigger. These are ballpark figures of course.
