Again, IMHO all you need to do is get an air cooled reflector and fan combo. You have a nice set up and have spent a good amount of cash I am sure. A cooled reflector will cost less than $100.00 on Ebay with a good variety of types, sizes, and sellers to choose from

Ok so I'm going to get an Apollo Horticulture 6 inch air-cooled Hood with a glass protector is that good? And are my plants screwed??? If I get this hood and I continue with the next three weeks of the grow will they repair themselves or have I screwed up???

They'll finish out fine, but do is that foliar feed that burn your leaves or is that phos def?
Not sure I use the fox farm Trio not the whole line but just the three main minerals. I use them with every other watering and I follow the measurement according to the schedule. I also used to Bush doctor flush. I've only done that once. I ordered the hood and it should be here on Wednesday I'm going to keep my ballast at 50% until I get it....will that work??

1000w is good, but you should have a few plants going or you're wasting electricity. But you will need a fan or air cooled hood. I THINK the Apollo is a good one, but I'm an LED guy.

4x4? That's a little small for a 1000w, especially one that isn't air cooled. 5 plants sounds good, though. I think if you can, you should get a bigger grow space, but most important right now is fresh air and temperature control.

I adore the FF products I have always used them. Next grow I am going into a more organic method...but that is for my journal not your thread.

After you get a bit of experience with the FF nute trio...you will learn to better 'dial in' the correct feeding schedule and dosage amounts for your grow by listening to your gurlz. The FF schedule as they present it is over feeding especially if you go by the suggestion to use their feeding schedule twice per week. I don't know what they base that on. Most plants do not require more than 2 waterings per week let alone feeding. So, if you go by their schedule you will be feeding every time you water. Shit, if I wanted to do that I would save time and money using Miracle-Gro.

When you say the 3 main minerals I assume your talking about open sesame ,Beastie blooms and cha ching but I'm sure your referring to big bloom, grow big and tigerbloom tho
And FYI when you use sledgehammer your supposed to add boomerang in to the mix as well 2 tsp sledgehammer and 1 tsp boomerang
I use the fox farm schedule @ 100% once a week then water three days later I don't see anymore issues since going to 100% and use happy frog soil its better and can begin the schedule immediately with clones

I mean, I use FoxFarm's Bat Guano, too. I like the organic granules Nature's Care uses, though. Makes flower simple. Just add extra guano (0-5-0) to the food with the Rhizobacillus (3-4-2) and water with molasses, and you keep a healthy, not-too-high N content with excellent P and K built around it. Throw in some dolomite lime for Ca/Mg and blood meal for veg, and pretty much have everything I need together.

I use them every other watering...usually once a week

To be fair, I wouldn't recommend any other MiracleGro product line to anyone, to include Organic Choice. The time released nutrients and such just aren't ideal. Nature's Care, as BKB knows, is the only MG product I endorse, and confidently.
