Try using an enzyme product everytime you water. Pond zyme is cheap and will last you forever. So got like 3 days of rain in the forecast after a day of rain and fog all night after, forecast says rain, rain, rain. Will microbes help prevent root rot? Have a bucket of overflowing compost tea foaming all over the barn but it's non stop rain coming. Help or hurt?
I've been adding liquid Orca mycorrizae with other bacteria to the tea and only watering a pint straight since they are water logged and mold is developing on the top of the soil because of the rain for a week straight with fog and dew.Try using an enzyme product everytime you water. You using the wettable powder mycorrizhae? I hear mycorrizhae isn't of any benefit unless in direct contact with the roots. The enzymes will help keep the roots clean. Maybe you can make an sst for the enzymes? Or put a cone a little larger than the diameter of the pot around the base of each plant so that it acts like an umbrella?I've been adding liquid Orca mycorrizae with other bacteria to the tea and only watering a pint straight since they are water logged and mold is developing on the top of the soil because of the rain for a week straight with fog and dew.
