Heater/ seedling heat mat question.

Hey guys!

My grow tent is in the garage and gets down to about 55/60 without a heater on. I’m concerned about letting my ceramic space heater run overnight. My questions is could I just put a seedling heat mat under my hydro farm set up? I’m thinking keeping the water and roots warm is the only thing I should worry about. Considering it’s not gonna get down to freezing temps or anything inside the tent. If the leaves are chilly but roots warm am I good?
