Alright fellows let me start by saying I have a storage container grow box 6 cfls and some seeds from nirvana, germed great and with the initial one which is blue mystic auto fem, I sprouted in a little grow plastic container and waited about a week and it never grew past about an inch tall. Sooo I switched soil and just said screw it and transplanted it I know I know to early but ya get excited with the first one. It's been a few days since I changed containers and its taking to it great and I've had root growth since transplanting it ( its in a clear container so I can tell) but it hasn't gotten any taller. Finally I got a thermometer and turns out the temp was reachig 100 deg

So here's my questions
Did that stunt my plants and will they take

Will the clear pot holder effect the roots.

And what's some advice after bringing the temp down which I've already done.

Sorry for the long sh*t but I have more to tell just takes to long to type on my iPhone.

Yeah bro , 100 deg for babies is death or close to it stunting and yellowing which is a disaster for a seedling. Start again this time make sure you raise them in nursery with a cfl that stays under 80.

Anything above 85F without C02 enrichment will stop growth. The plant goes into a maintenance mode at that point and does everything it can to reduce heat.

Opaque pots are the best. Roots should not be exposed to light.

Back your lights off or reduce how many CFLs you are using. Seedlings/clones don't need a lot of light. Gradually add more.

What's up fellows and thanks for the advice. I've added an addition fan yesterday and there isn't any sort of yellowing on the leaves and then after checking out my grow journal they seem to be doing pretty well. Full color and maintaining 76-78 temp. I use fox nutes and have one in soil and one bubbler hydro system. I've noticed a big change in the small time that I've brought temps down. And hopefully it didn't perm effect them.
So now I have them about 5-6 inches away from the 6 cfls and did the wrist test to make sure the heat wasn't unbearable but the addition fan is pretty much a low turning fan blowing on the actual seedlings. I don't over water ( maybe once every other day but really depends)
but again I really appreciate it and hopefully with your guys help I can get some bud porn of blue auto mystic and pinapple chunk.

when using the entire fox farm lineup including micro nutes, watch out for cal-mag deficiencies.

I wouldn't worry about cal mag deficiencies in the seedling stage. It takes a few weeks before it is an adult. In that time you will see little growth. Get some liquid fish fertilizer and find dolomite lime. Transplant it into something bigger that isn't clear and mix in a couple tablespoons of the dolomite lime. Give them the fish fertilizer at a half teaspoon per gallon. Let it dry out pretty thoroughly between waterings.

Once you see that it starts branching out, it is in the adult stage. Increase the fish fertilizer to a teaspoon per gallon. Every few waterings, give it water only. You will soon be on your way to cannabis bliss. If it is autoflowering, you will soon see pistils forming (little white hairs). When you see this, go to a hydroponics store and get the bloom part of any three part hydroponics formula. Add this to your fertilizer regimen at about a teaspoon per gallon. This will help them get nice thick buds.

When they reach a point where 2/3 - 3/4 of the hairs have died and turned reddish brown, your buds will feel solid and your plant is ready for harvest. Growing in dirt is soooo easy.

Good luck and happy growing.

Yeah, I meant just during flower. Veg, fox farms does well in my experience. I boost with co2 and a little higher heat and by week 2 of flower, they need a calmag supplement.

First let me thank y'all for all the help and everything and green ts I was curious about the fish fertilizer cause I've basically heard that stuff is super potent and will kill off a plant if your not careful. But basically ur not giving it anything but water and fish fertilizer? I haven't had any sort of budget to check ph co2 levels and all that jazz but done the road I will have it down to the science of everything (I'm critical on stuff like this) but the clear container that I have it in is super long and about 10 inch round and over a foot long. I'm very limited with space cause the hydro takes alot of room in the containers. Even though I have my own crib my wife doesn't smoke and she would be worried to death about them. But I didn't get cheap soil it's basically the all organic non fertilizer kind not FF or anything. But I was planning on just duct taping the sides when it gets needed.

Also I'm going to get more seeds any strain ideas, favorites? Large yielding smaller plants? Fast growing?

Liquid fish fertilizer is a complete fertilizer. It contains all necessary trace nutrients. I have had very good luck with it over the years. It is relatively weak at a half teaspoon per gallon in the seedling stage and a teaspoon per gallon in the adult stage, just make sure you give them strait water every third or so waterings. Dont forget the dolomite lime, else the fertilizer will lock up in the soil after a few waterings due to PH rising. The lime has a lot of magnesium in it, so you don't need a cal-mag supplement. It's all good.

I'm telling you that fish fertilizer is amazing shit in dirt.

For outdoor I use about a gallon of Alaska fish ferilizer per plant, about $10 a gallon. It is OMRI listed.
