Heat Stress -- Any long lasting effects?

I am growing a couple of seedlings to be mums. A recent heatwave dameged them a little but they seem to be recovering just fine. I am wondering if this stress will effect the growth or yield of the plant or the clones I am going to get from these mums. Right now the seedlings are 5 inch tall. Thank you

I accidently torched my babies, along with that i let them become overrun with spidermites. They withered till they almost died, most of which did, and then made a miraculous recovery into the beasts they are today. three weeks into flower and they're producing like crazy. Not sure if the potency will be affected but we'll see I suppose.

Well, actually, any type of stress the plant endures, will carry with it, forever,(in it's DNA) even it's clones. That being said, they are really tough plants that are able to recover from some pretty bad damage(I've been through 'em all.lol), basically, unharmed. Your plants should be perfectly fine, and that heat stress, shouldn't effect yield or potency, one bit. If it does, you'll never notice it, anyway, 'cause it'd be miniscule. Yield and potency are more determined by light intensity, and being fed properly. It'd take quite a bit of stress(in early veg) to reduce those, noticeably.

thanks for reassuring words. hopefully they will be fine. they don't even seem to be stunned. overall look is not that healthy it was few days ago and a couple of leafs look pretty burned but the new ones are fine and they growing strong. Light and feeding a am taking care of, just didnt expect to be 100 degrees in november.
