Ok. I have a 6.5-6.5-6.5 grow tent.

80-95 degrees with all fans on high.

A Raptor hood 1000W HPS hortilux and magnetic ballast.

6inch inline blower on the raptor.

And a 6inch in line fan 188cfm on the carbon air filter.( This is the line that removes the heat.)

My thoughts are to remove the 6inch inline fan(188cfm) and replace it with the 8inch which puts out over 400cfm.

Do youguys think that the new fan will be enough to cool the room?

I believe that the room is something like 274Cf total.

depends on the ambient temperature outside of the tent, but it should help.
You temps aren't horrible - especially since you have constant fresh air..
Give it a shot and post the results.

It is inside the house in a bedroom so the air temp stays around 67-73 during the day. I open the windows at night in the house to cool it off but wont be able to do that much longer and wont want to once i get my clones this weekend.

Oh yah i will be growing Blue Cheese in my ebb n flow set up.

after this first crop i will upgrade a few items to make it a bit more professional and easy for me to work in and around.

how much room do you have before your plants touch the light. i dont know how many watts you have but it might get kinda hot on that canopy top. just a thought, cuz it looked kinda short.

yah it is kinda short. . . thats why the upgrades are in store after this crop. i have three feet between the expanded clay rocks and the glass on the hood. I am going to switch the lights after the clones reach 6-8 inches and hope to get between 1-3oz a piece.

I had the Active Air 6inch inline fan producing 188cfm. Today I returned the 6inch and upgraded to the 8inch and it runs 471 cfm. I have checked the Temp after many hours of the 1000w hps and the Temp is staying right at 78 degrees F.

AWSOME!!!. . . .all I need now are my gurlies.
