I do rapid rooters in a self watering self watering tray and dome. I get my cuttings scrape a bit off of the end dip it in real honey and roll it in something like recharge or great whitea d leave them with a t5Idk what I'm doing for it not too root. I'm using rapid rooter plugs ph water at 6.0 with 300ppm. Rootech gel, dome on with no vent open light 18/6 315w cmh in with my mother's tent. Been 2 week with no roots should I toss away an start a new batch
Careful using that aloe water idea. I have heard it works great for some but it makes my cuts droop bad. I just like straight tap water before I dip it in gel and put in rw cube. No phing the water or anything. That's what works for me. Except I do ph the water that the rw cubes soak in at 5.5 for a few hoursI cut the clone and place in water with a drop of Aloe Vera gel, like for sunburns sold at Walmart etc., for about an hour. I immediately plant the clone in red solo cup, bottom pieces snipped out and water until it runs out of the bottom, with FFHF soil about 2 1/2" to 3" down. I take a plastic sandwich bag and snip a v out of both sides to provide oxygen. I spray / mist the inside of baggie 2 times a day with water and place over cup as a humidity dome.I check the soil to maintain moisture 2 times a day, using a moisture meter, $7.99 on Amazon. Roots in 5 to 7 days. I have about a 99.9% success rate even if clones are taken while flowering as late as 3 weeks in, I haven't taken any later than that.
I should clarify on the aloe. I only put a drop into a 3/4 full red solo cup of tap water. I don't put the aloe on the cuttingCareful using that aloe water idea.
