I use a heat Mat with a themp probe. Set the temp probe just resting in the domes by the clones to read ambient temp. Not into the soil. I usually set it at 75

I cut the clone and place in water with a drop of Aloe Vera gel, like for sunburns sold at Walmart etc., for about an hour. I immediately plant the clone in red solo cup, bottom pieces snipped out and water until it runs out of the bottom, with FFHF soil about 2 1/2" to 3" down. I take a plastic sandwich bag and snip a v out of both sides to provide oxygen. I spray / mist the inside of baggie 2 times a day with water and place over cup as a humidity dome.I check the soil to maintain moisture 2 times a day, using a moisture meter, $7.99 on Amazon. Roots in 5 to 7 days. I have about a 99.9% success rate even if clones are taken while flowering as late as 3 weeks in, I haven't taken any later than that.

I took what I do from Budzbuddha, the guy grows shit out of rocks, lol. Follow what I posted and I guarantee you will be successful. I am not one to re-invent the wheel. I have used rapid rooter, rooter tooter, rock wool, grow plugs, clone machine and ended back at plain old soil, keep the humidity, do 18 / 6, use a soil meter, don't tug on it to see if there are roots, if it stays green and you see new growth on top u are good as gold. Give it up to 12 days to root. Good luck with what ever you do

Careful using that aloe water idea. I have heard it works great for some but it makes my cuts droop bad. I just like straight tap water before I dip it in gel and put in rw cube. No phing the water or anything. That's what works for me. Except I do ph the water that the rw cubes soak in at 5.5 for a few hours

I should clarify on the aloe. I only put a drop into a 3/4 full red solo cup of tap water. I don't put the aloe on the cutting
