Heat issues :(

Having some heat issues at the moment, been bringing on my seedling with the light high up about four foot from the sprouts it's a 250w hps by the way. Had the heat about 25 degrees and had my tent door open. They are two weeks old now I brought the light down to 18" off them and I now have a 4 inch extractor with the door shut the temp was sitting at 31 degrees far too hot for my liking. I've raised the light and put the pots on a stand it's about 2 foot off the tops now but I've only managed it to get to 29 degrees with the extractor just below the hight of the light. Can anyone give me some tips to get the heat down anymore ? I got plenty of extraction just can't bring the heat lower than 29 and it's really buggin me :( also can't get my humidity above 45% ?? Please help

I spent so much on this set up that was originally a windowsill grow I don't really want to get an intake fan. I should be able to solve this problem without an intake fan :( I've got a circulation fan and o can't afford to have the tent open in flower :(

Your gna need a intake fan and if your in veg bumping up your humidity helps your plants beat heat id get your temps dialed in before thinking about flowering unless you have a aclimatized strain your just asking for problems otherwise. Theres moisture and heat in flower which is perfect environment for bugs. Mold and dare i say it powdery mildew

how many cfm does your exhaust fan move? also if your path of air from it isnt a atraight line the force of the air is reduced.

if the fan your using is one of those $30 booster fans theres your problem right there.

It's a German make it cost me £54 and moved 175 cfm i managed to get the temp down my keeping the light higher just sacrificing distance from plants for better heat. Got it to 27.1 how ever still contemplating one of those cheap inline fans off eBay just for intake. I can't really avoid having a bend in my ducts because I'm sure my extractor has to be sitting a certain way or doesn't that matter ?

Kinda seems like the real issue is the intake temp if you have ample extraction. Can you intake fresh air from a window or A/C? I feel like a good extraction fan will create enough negative pressure to pull air in, but you need the incoming air to be nice and cool. I keep the room my tents are in pretty cold compared to the rest of the house during lights on, then bump it up when dark to pull warmer air in, keeping temps very stable.

BTW, I ended up with bends in my ducts, it is less efficient but it does work.

Get some fans. At least 2 small fans blowing at canopy. That will help

Or weed. Just darn cheap.
My daughter lives in Portland. I view the menus online from shops there and drool. $8 - $10 a gram for AAA stuff. Where I am at now I can literally see the Mexican border and walk to it. They bust tons every week. But decent bud here is $20 a gram period. And a lot of it isn't worth $8 a g.

I'm in the Bible Belt. If you can find good weed it's $400 a zip. Love almost free weed and I pick the varieties! Makes an old man happy.
