Plants only use co2 during " lights on" they wont use it all during lights off.. I also wouldnt even use it in veg, you can but I have been growing with co2 for a while and it just didnt do enough for me in veg to keep using it. And I wouldn't recommend co2 unless you have a sealed environment or sealed grow room. Are you growing hydro? or Soil.. If hydro even 85 is too high.I pull the hose out of the box. if you look at the pic there is a hole next to the power cord that my power runs through. in dark hours I cover the holes with a blanket. this is just temp till my real rooms are done being built. but yes stop the co2 at night. I don't know why thats just wha I was told. I think it chokes the plant but not sure. if you have a room just pull it out of there before your dark time.
It would look the same without using co2 in your set up.. Stop wasting your money on co2 if you are leaving your door open you are just wasting that co2.. If you are in soil 85 degrees might be as long as your root ball doesnt get too hot. Keep a hygrometer at canopy level and pot level. But yeah that co2 is going to waste how many times are you re-filling your co2 tank?I only use it in lights on. and only in flower. I am new to growing so i just try what I hear on here. My room is not sealed during lights on I have to leave the door open a couple. I don't expect it to do much but I seams that it is working. i don't know if would look the same if the co2 was not there. I use soil. the crystal production seems rather high for trhee weeks. or is this
normal for the time in flower. View attachment 2219534
yeah that homemade co2 is probably not gonna help combat the high temps.. The more you increase your PPM of co2 the hotter the temps can be I hit the mid 80's and I pump 1500 PPM's..it's homeade. i don't care about wasting it. the first thread from me on here is a recipe that I use. he wanted to know how to cool off his gismo, i dont know if co2 will or will not cool his room. but I figured if it would i would tell him how it's made, without costing him tons on tanks.
i didn't think it would or my box would be sealed. I was going to make a exhast system but my room is close to done.yeah that homemade co2 is probably not gonna help combat the high temps.. The more you increase your PPM of co2 the hotter the temps can be I hit the mid 80's and I pump 1500 PPM's..
not a good set up
not a good set up
with a cfl the bulb has to be as close to the plant as you can
if that bulb was 2" above a plant you grow it in veg to 6" easy and healthy
did not read the comments but i have a daylight 20w cfl and its good for seedling / veg (one plant)
