I'm having a major heat issue. Readings sometimes in the 90's and with lights out in low 80's. setup is in basement and is generally cool there.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I don't have anything to clear the air in the room since running the co2. Would you go that route? I'd be wasting alot of co2 with that.
I figured the fan I grabbed was very powerful and would be able to suck all the heat off the light.

short answer - Thermodynamics kicked your butt.

Long answer - you need a cool air intake, and a hot air exhaust. Just swirling the air around in the room isn't going to help, as there's nowhere for the heat to escape.

With proper airflow CO2 isn't necessary at all. You will have plenty flowing and available to plants at all times.

So, what if I got rid of the squirrel fan, got a 6 inch inline and connect it to my controller? My only issue is that the light is air cooled and I only have (2)6 inch duct holes in the tent. One in and one out which the light is currently using. Can I grab a Y duct to connect the 2 ducts near the exit? The tent has mesh holes in the bottom to bring in fresh air.

Okay, you got two holes, one in, one out, both for the light. Unhook the intake from the light, put a fan on it and let it bring cool air into the tent. Put another fan on the exhaust, and attach a carbon filter (if one isn't already there.) Have the exhaust pull air from the tent through the light, that will cool it off, vent heat, and filter smell. No CO2 should be needed unless you don't visit the grow room (I practically live in the office where my grow closet is located so I just let them breathe my wastes and I breathe their wastes.)

Got ya...I was trying to have a solution to where I can inject co2. My levels are around 300-350ppm without.
My thought was to run an external AC into the tent and connect a carbon filter to where the intake was connected to the light. Have my inline fan on the filter pushing air through the light and out the tent. This would kill my co2 objective, but likely fix my heat issue. How's this sound? I feel my co2 levels are low with this though. Maybe if I run the intake into my furnace room it'll grab some co2 from my furnace when it kicks on? That will only be a winter time fix though.

I know you're in the basement, so let me ask, do you have a ground-level window for air circulation? Can you crack that to allow for air refreshing? As long as air flows there is no need to worry about your CO2 levels, ever. If it gets hotter move more air to compensate for increased respiration.

hey man. lately ive had high temps. and high i mean 120 was my highest. as long as the plant gets used to heat increasing it will be ok. i mean mine is doing ok other than i went away and it dried out and the bottom leaves died and fell off =o

im having same problem, no c02 tho, 1 exractor and 1 fresh air inlet, dont kno to go for 1 more in or 1 more out or perhaps both, 93 degrees is no good, had to put eco back on as was burning leave tips and green fading to almost bleached. cant get humid up high enough tryin to let room breathe. its a nightmare!i don kno what else to do. not a tent but a sealed up white room, 2m by 2.5 meters.
i also have found they can handle that heat, but last few weeks, it doen't seem to like it, a few went herm on me due to heat( i think) total amateur here lol .please help with any suggestions.
