hey RIU,

well i fucked up bad and totally forgot to set the AC temp

my temps are always at a comfy 75-77 for the kids, but today when i came to the room, temps were 92f, becuz im an idiot and forgot somthing so important (so pissed at myself)...and the plants dont look happy.....heres a couple pics there only about a week and a half old.....not all of them look like these two (the leaves are kinda twisty) but some i noticed a few little yellow dots, nothing absolutely seriously bad looking, at least yet...i have the temps back to 75 with a 54% humidity

it was hott for about six hours.....fuck!!!

Does anyone have any advice on what i can do besides obviously keepin the temps cooler than 92 degrees??

Do you guys think they will forgive me?

Did you know 1 400 watt light will be enought to do all your seeds. You must live in a place. Its winter and its still hott with an ac.. wow.
Get some buckets of water in your room to increase your humidity. Is your Outtake up high? What are u running your light cycles? i do 16/8 6pm to 10 am works good for me. I have a 400 watt mh in a two by 4 closet. No heat problems at all. Its cold where i live tho.
If you can invest in a 400 watter mh. It will solve your heat problems and its perfect for seedlings/ clones

yea i need to get some lights that are not so intense.....every room besides the grow room here is below 60 degrees f

i basically have 24 plants under 2000 watts

so i will turn one light off, although i have to say the plants were just fine untill i was forgetfull and didnt set the ac...they seemed to be loving all that light till i fucked the temps up lol....oops

guess thats the fun part of bein new, the adventure of maintaining healthy plants.... and to think theres actually people on this site that had the nerve to tell me im far from ready for a commercial garden....lol too late eh?

thanks for your help and input without criticism!!

whoa your running two lights for 24 seedlings? JUST WHOA. You will do fine with one light. They dont need that much light untill flowering. i put 80 clones under two 1000's
They only need 4000 lumens for seedlings/clones. then 26000 for veg. 100 000+ for flowering.
12 under each light is alright if they are trees. Your 1000 watt mh gived 115 000 lumens at 1 foot away. at 4 feet away its gives 8200 lumens. I keep my 400 watt mh 2 feet away and its giving them 10 000 lumens with less heat. Your lights gives out dry heat. That makes the humidity go down. you need to have at least 60% humidity. 55 is reasonable. 60-70 is more ideal.
Aslong as your run your AC you will be fine. It weighs more than the hydro bill!!

hey guys....i was just wondering if anyone can explain what could happen as a result of the six hours my plants had to sit in 92 degree f temps....i made a boo boo and had a stoner moment...the leaves are kinda distorted looking (kinda warped lookin) can i expect them to recover considering conditions are optimal??

thanks man but you should check my journal out...i have all that stuff X3 my friend

thanks for taking your time to respond! + rep for that. the longer im a member here, the less feedback i get....almost time to find a new grow site

aircooled hoods work like magic... but two lights ducting and and inline fan would runu close too 400

i was just wondering if the plants will recover now that all conditions are optimal.....they had that day of high temps, hopefully that one day only didnt ruin the plants!

It shouldn't hurt them at all. I had a couple weeks this summer where the temp in both of my growrooms was in the mid-90's,(before I could control the temps) and they were fine as long as i kept them watered. As long as you have the temp under control now, you don't have anything to worry about. They'll be a-okay. :)

they will be fine just don't rush the recovery. they are forgiving a couple of times but that's all. I have also left the light on for a few hours and it was 91 but they recovered. it may stunt the growth a little.
Good Luck
