Heat help on running a 1000hps

OK fellas i got a 10x10 room 800cubic feet i will be setting up with one 1000w hps . 6 plants, keeping them short will be running a 480 cfm exhaust with the intake comming in from under the house across the room. its 95 degrees now and the room is 80 my biggest concern is to be prepared for high temps in the summer. it gets hot here in the valley and wanted to know how much heat these lights put out and if you think i would be ok with this setup? everything will be on a temp and humidity control. I'm an outdoor dude going in..... AND GO!!!!

did you make a cool tube? if you have a cool tube and its still too hot, you gotta spend the 100 bucks and get a AC. i've seen them at homedepot for 100.

kool tubes have fans built into them?? which brand ? or i can make one if i get some cfm specs

1000 watts is no joke bro. You will most likely need an air cooled system, doesn't have to be a cool tube, but you will need an air cooled reflector. You won't be able to have an open reflector in that room at all, don't even waste your time trying.

cool tubes dont have fans built into them, not at least any ive seen. if you have the inline fan you gotta buy 4,6,8 what ever inch duct and just connect them together.

You will almost guaranteed need an air conditioner even with an air cooled hood. make sure you get a split system or dual hose portable unit if you are getting a portable unit. The bigger the better. Remember if it is hot now and you expect it to get hotter You will need at least 12,000 btu ac. PM me if you need help.

I would reccomend a thermostat controlled portable AC. A cool tube would probably do it with the suitable hosing and a good in line fan, but AC is so nice. My grow room is the coolest place in the house with a 1000w in a 10 by 10 room about, and a 10,000 BTU AC Unit. Checkem out
