Heat control and what's enough light to produce solid bud

Hello I'm currently growing in a grow space that's about 4 ft tall. I'm using 4 nanolux 1000 watt dimmable ballast and cool tubes. I have fans, fresh air and portable AC. Doing a sea of green set up with 38 plants total. Just switched to flower at 10-12 inches tall. Temperature is 73-75 degrees with lights on. I wanted to up the wattage to 75% or 750 watts each but temp jumped to 82-85 degrees not optimal. My question is if I stay at 500 watts on four lights will I still produce solid buds or am I wasting my time ? 18 plants under 2 lights and another 18 under two in a sea of green setup

I think 85° is fine for your plants, the question is how close are the lights to the canopy.
Also what kind of plants( indica-sativa?

85 will hinder your yield somewhat. get good air flow if you chose to use any Co2 then you can stay at the higher degree. you would be surprised what 10 deg will do. or in your case will not do. you want the higher watts . for more bud. try and find away to decrease your temps. . if you cant . then look into Co2 supplement. good luck . on your S.O.G.

I run a perpetual sog with 400 watters and the buds are all top shelf, I think its more about how you use the light. My lights are air cooled and the tops are literally touching the glass and light is able to hit the very bottoms

I run my ballast on super lumens is that a drastic difference from 100%? Got ac comin in 79 degree environment

Try this out if your temps are a tad high excellent,600 hps light with cool vented hood,and a min of a 6 inch fan outlet ,4 inch inlet,I have also found the less plants under that 600 the higher the yeild ,but use a practice like scrog .

I'm running at 75% 4 lights. The temp averages 75-79 48-52% humidity.

I'm always amazed when people can get such big plants from such small pots. What size pots are they and what keeps them from tipping over?

lol . once i did them at 100 f . some serious temp issues . it was impossible to cool . lets just say . 2... 24000 btu ac units did not do shit to many lights . one serious tomato grow , lmao , any ways they all were dense and it was really good . had the fans blowing full blast and a lot of fans so heat was there but it felt cool . so many fans . at night temps only got about 75f lowest .

1 gallon pots and I guess the fans I have going on them since day one made them strong

Different strains have different heat tolerance. 90 isnt bad for some strains if you have co2. I prefer 85 myself. My plants love it. At high temps like this it is nearly impossible for powdery mildew to reproduce. Get a laser thermometer and check the temps on your tops.
