Sorry guys im still a little confused so anyone over 21 can now go purchase at a dispensary. I'm not even from the area im just looking for a straight answer I figured its still a med patients only grey area for everyone else?
No, Recreational Dispensaries will be start popping up in December of 2013 however the will all be starting from scratch and the pot will be monitored from seed to your bag. That being said you can expect to start being able to buy at strictly recreational store sometime around March/April.

Apparently there is also some controversy over if you can start from clones or not. Anybody in the business knows how impractical it would be for every plant every legally sold to be from seed. It would sort out alot of bullshit growers who are not able to handle any male plants (myself included at the moment).

Hello...

I have a dispensary thread in this very same forum, look for my post. I have limited experience and so far I am Happy with a place called the Joint on HWY 9, they have specials and on Mondays their Top Shelf for bottom shelf prices, so their best $12/g is $10/g you get a break on a zip @240 without tax. You get a free edible I highly recommend Capt Cosmic Chaos Oreo Bar. Don't eat all at once its hard not too but big mistake, eat a 1/4 wait 90 minutes you won't need anything for awhile.... :eyesmoke:
I know the Joint on University and like 55th in Seattle. It is a nice place and the free drinks got me for a little but the flower isnt amazing for the extra $2/gram. Also not to sound stuck up or rude or anything but I would not pay 240 for an oz in Seattle period. If you are ever looking to buy a little bigger it may be worth the trip to a different location. The market on Rainer or my friends at Herb N care on greenwood and 85th always have budget ozs on the shelf for 180-220 and its always good medicine.

Ive also gotten some amazing deals on craigslist buying from other patients.....Ive also had some bad experiences. Not sure if its worth the savings. But some of the best pot ive ever had was off Craigslist for 140/oz. I just wish I had gotten more :wall::wall::wall:

Yes you can buy clones and seeds from almost any dispensary. Seeds are a little harder to find with clones. Be careful and watch for bugs....its best to get them from a friend. Dispensaries see people all day and have patients pawing at the clones with dirty hands. If you do get clones just be safe and spray them with some sort of (preferably organic) bug controller. You can get probably over 300 different strains in Seattle alone (probably not rly that different).
Do I need a MMJ card or any paper work, I'm not from WA. I don't know anyone out there

. If you're serious about quality, start from seed and select a choice pheno mother to work from. Some growers range from clueless, to careless, to outright passing off inferior clones to dispensaries. There's no way to verify whether the clones come from a potent pheno or not other than trust. Most strains show quite a range from seed, some dynamite and some so-so, all from the same stock. And I don't think many growers who supply clones are going to be handing out their prime genetic material anyway. Least not by how most sound on RIU and most other forums online.

Therefore like the paternal brotherhoods before whereas a great cause needed to be given the highest order among them there too one should arise to preserve the patriarchal and matriarchal genetics of cannabis.

What shall it be called what will be its mission statement who what will be serve as Procter and Preserver.

Will it be some sort of strain registration such as ACI Americian Cannabis Institute?

Or will there be some sort of secrete society such as BOG (Brother Of Ganga)?

hmmm pray tell what will be done to preserve and protect the beginning of genesis?

The whole idea of trying to monitor from "Seed" or even "clones" to retail product is a little bit absurd. Because of the nature of Cannabis (Highly promiscuous and easy to reproduce vegetatiively), there is a plethora of strains around making an impossible task to ascertain genetic identity.

No where in the world is any crop tracked at such a level. Even for ingredients used in beer alcohol making, and the LCB thinks this is practical ? Gee maybe they should insist that all workers work in white clean rooms and white bikinis as well.

Whats important is that the product is well identified as the grower has produced his crop, along with the proper analysis for cannabinoid content, purity and pesticides.
