Headband plants

Growing some headband plants, use the fox farm line, when they were about 65 days through i watered them for 10 days and they still continued to grow. they are about 6feet tall and the coalas are about the size of a football. It's been now about 75 days and they still grow. I did try this stuff called MOAB and used it with just water, but ive read Headband is a small plant and only 63-70days? Any ideas anyone?

One I had was a long maturing and had to supercrop for height control. Oh and it sucked waiting 12+ weeks...Just the strain I had I guess. Liked to pop nanners too.

I'm going to crop them soon, I guess they just wanted to keep growing. There definately my biggest producers yet. So I can't complain there. It sucks waiting but im glad i don't rely on just those to come out then i would be S.O.L. lmao.

If you think im trying to sell something then idk what to tell you, I ASKED FOR IDEAS ON A PLANT IM GROWING!

I just harvested some headband... they all grew(5) pretty small and in 5 gal pots of FFOF soil. I used moab the last week also. I let them go a full 8 week period and i still think i let it go alittle longer than shouldve... tested back at 21% though and yeilded ok IMO it was my first time growing and i got 5 oz off one plant.

Yeah no lie these are 6 pushing 7 feet tall! And i'm about to crop them within the next few days. They are in a soil mix..its half miracle grow potting mix, half moisture control, added limestone and pear-lite. I use the entire fox farm line and idk they just are huge. I do want to have them tested, I can't wait to try them. What made you think you left them in longer than you should have?

They just were showing red hairs everywhere before the rest of strands and during last week the leafs were all purple and some yellowing. Looked fire lol and apartenly smoke as good but something about how the plant looked just bothered me. Almost like it was starting to die and go downhill. I know yellowing is normal and the purple is just showing cause its good plant pheno but it showing up so fast and hard core at last week time scared me.

I see what you mean. Now they look ready, I spent some time with them yesterday and was lookin at them so I'm super excited to smoke it. I grew some Lemon Skunk and I will admit it was not as great as i thought, it was super leafy and didnt produce as much as i hoped.

TripTrip! I just got 1 reserva privada sour kush "headband". Is that what you have? I'm very interested in how it is going to go. Attitude said 9 weeks for flowering; I hope it's not 12.

I'm pretty sure mine is just straight Headband not a Sour Kush "Headband", although i have grown the one you are talking about. The one I had was about 10 weeks maybe 9 1/2 but right around there. I let mine go just a few more days and i get about 3oz per plant depending on how tall i let them grow. Last ones i grew were about 4 1/2 maybe 5 feet tall and i got out of 5 plants 18oz

HPS? I use T-5's. Even tho they don't penetrate anywhere near HPS, I believe with the bulbs I use that it is right up there in potency. Yield is a different story. I have a badboy 6 bulbs with aquarium bulbs to eliminate green and yellow light. So all lightis being used.

yeah hps. i use fox farm chemicals though. and i use superthrive until i bloom, of course i flush them before i bloom them so they get tall faster and then your plants are way bigger

I had a cutting of HeadBand 707 from WA., crossed it with a chocolope female and love it and so do my "friends" :-)
do some research and find the real HB and not the new kids with their HB, ya know?

Fox farm has yet to do me wrong so it is what i stick with. the soil mixture i use however is two kinds of miracle grow soils adding some pearlite and limestone. it seems to work for me i always have healthy plants. Choco headband huh? Sounds nice. I did my research and got the real Headband, it isnt the mix or fake HB.
