So far so good,Nutes are at 1200+/- and the growth looks similiar to when 12/12 is used. Gona hit em with nitrozime tomorow, noticed a few hairs starting to turn.I expected more fuss from this exparament but none so far,and my only complaint is waking up at odd hours turning stuff on,maybe ill get a timer for christmas! Cheers

The hairs on the plant are turning brown, and i would say they look older than 12/12@36days
The tent is mostly hindu kush and a few chemdawg x sour/og-
The smaller plants are just phat ass buds and are bigger then when i ran the same strain under 12/12 in soil and flowered at the same height of 7"
I finally put everything on a timer and dont have to babysit so much which is nice.
I have fucked up the schedule a bit this run,and this could have an effect but its usually justa hour here and there.
I will always have at least one basil per tray as a companion,it grows like crazy underhid 6/12 -Adds the basil smell to the air and tastes great !

I have a 3x3 tray and i could potentially do a side by side in the next week or two,but i am seriously considering doing a full 6/12 sealed room with co2 based on what ive seen so far, pics tonight if i remember to buy batteries-
cheers

Goin good but not finished, buds look better and denser than when i did 12/12 of same strain-but the a/c option of hood wasnt used 1st round.
I am gona try n find batteries for pics tonight-the 6/12 is hard to keep up with i messed up again and left lights on too long so,this could have an effect on where there at as ive done that a few times.

I believe i will do 4 tables @ 6/12 next with a 12/12 tent for comparison.
Cheers

Buds are looking great, almost seems better than when i did 12/12 but this could be due to (ionic bloom,a/c hoods, big bud etc) I will have a better idea when i weigh them out but this looks to be a way to get the same yield with less electricty.Interesting.

i posted em up but cant find em so here they go again,
my chemdogxsour/og is finishing what seems to be faster than the hindukush, wierd.
ppms are down around 1600ppm,still no co2 and buds look amazing.
I will try takin fliks today with lights off to see if they come out better.
6/12 seems to be a way to get same results with less light/electricity than 12/12....interesting.
Buds are too heavy for branches and the chem buds are uber large compared to the last bucket round i did with em.
Naturalhigh good to see you bro, that 6 week pk sounds nice and ya im sure it would be 5 week with this 6/12 buisness,I have some seed for you to try Pm me.

My friend says he rcoomends adding sugars at this time,i am in e&f tables and not sure-does anyone have any feed back on the adding of "sugars:" for trichome production at end of cycle in hydro?
If so any recomendations?

I have not checked on this in a while, how did it go?
How was the yield when comparing a normal light cycle?

Will know in a few days ,im drying right now.Picked up some sweater drying racks and and another 4 rack 2x2 from bedbathnbeyond which has a built in fan that blows air across everyscreen/mesh shelf not bad for 17$ (im not using the fan but would come in handy if mold ever popped up) I believe my yield will be same as 12/12.Buds look great and smell great, the hindu come out nice with massive colas but the chemdawg was out of this world, much fatter/denser nugs than my 12/12 run with same strain.
Heres some shots of nugs and drying racks.
Purple is nug is the chemdawg and took 12 weeks to finish at 12/12 and 72 days @ 6/12
The hindu looked to finish in 8 weeks instead of the usual 9,weird.

Does anyone else use racks to dry? I have always hung trimmed plants on hangers for the whole slow dry effect but this take 9 days and i noticed no grassy taste etc with the screen dry method-you could fit 12+ of the stackable racks in one tent easy, very convenient-cheers time for a bowl and some call of duty MW2!8)

i use those racks, fucking good bits off kit. mine didnt come with a fan but i stuck one under the screens to prevent bud mold. i covered mine with visqueen and attached the carbon filter to the visqueen. the fan at the bottom sucked in clean air. absolutly stink proof. allowed me to use the growroom instantly and the extraction was moving air so quickly on the little home made drying tent that there was 100% no stagnent smell. i love those drying racks!

I didnt use the fan on the racks this time ,i didnt want to dry em too fast.
Had 4" fan pulin fresh air in tent, and a 4"(with odor sock thingy i got for free at expo) pushing air out of tent.Total pull was 14 1/2 oz Hindu kush and 5 oz of sour/og.
One of my tables was all my left over odd size clones and were much smaller than the other table which was veged a bit in cloner and had a relatively even profile.
I have another table i have in 6/12 but under regular hoods not a/c
and 3 gal pots were swapped for 1 gal pots
I will post pix.
Happy new year
