Hazeman seeds???

I have a pack of Mikado from Hazeman going right now..
Also a couple Blue Bubba.
The Blue Bubba produced the strangest deformity I have ever seen.. It produced leaves but no grow tips.. no nodes, no growth, just a couple leaves that continue to get a little bigger, yet WAY behind the pack.

..weird..

I am excited about the MIkado.. plan to save a male and toss some pollen of it on a few plants. I hear Mikado is the origin of SPG. Hoping so..

I've been loving Mikado for about 20 years now. It is an excellent daytime, working, creating buzz for me. Grows quick with harvest in about 7 weeks, with nice large and long buds.

Before the pics, let me say that I am a pretty casual grower; no tweaking of the water, rare and light doses of Earth Juice Organic as the only fertilizer, dirt grower, no CO2, etc. A good grower who is really tuned in should expect much better results.

I keep getting kicked out...

I can't give a report on the monkey balls, but I am growing lots of Hazeman seeds.
The Madness is crazy strong, and very coughy. At about the second hit of the glass pipe, the cough drives the hit right up into my brain, the world recedes and my body twitches for a few seconds. A couple of my testers found it just too strong.
The Double White Cheese is close to as potent, but easier on the lungs. I don't like to smoke either of these during the day.
G-High is another super strong smoke, but maybe a little less paralyzing than the first two. All three of these types are great for pain relief and sleep aids.
Mikado is primarily indica, but it affects me much more like a sativa, with a strong high instead of a stone. It always gets me a little obsessive, and inspired to start projects. Very social buzz.

Besides the lack of additives while flowering, I throw the seedlings into 12/12 while they are VERY young, with just 2 or 3 sets of leaves. Even so, all of these varieties give me 2-3 oz of longer, dense buds per plant. In fact, even side branch buds often have to be shortened to fit into quart jars.

That's an awesome yet shitty recessive. Flower that sucker out IMO :D

Mikado is an old school strain that was bred well and as such any recreation of it, provided the source isn't dumb, should be quite good.

A couple different people told me they have grown Mikado and were not impressed... eh, I don't know, I think they might have missed something.. I have grown SPG and I know it is worth having around. If SPG came from this plant then there is def something good in here..

Yesterday I went looking through my seedlings and picked out 2 Mikado males.. I THINK I see a third.. The third one has a serious stench, for a veg plant, wreaks like citrus... a cross of orange and grapefruit.. more grapefruit than orange though..

I did not think that SPG atually had a grapefruit smell.. hmm, maybe it does?
 
I bought 24 regular beans of hazeman blue bubba and 10 regular beans of strawberry cough. Too much on my plate right now so I may do a pheno hunt on them sometime next year. Here's a pic of someone who grew the blue bubba....

I dropped 2 Blue Bubba.. One was a male and one was a funky mutant.. I was disappointed. Sounds like a great cross.

Can't expect much when you drop 2 seeds though..
 
I've got 8 of hazemans strains ready to go, just have to get this cookie mix from cannaventure done before starting some. Thinking of running 4 strains to start with :)
the grape 13 and elephant stomper look real good so they will be first up with mikado and fugu kush :)

I might have to grab some at some point.. I acquired a couple in a trade, but, I don't think I ended up with any females. I might have one in there I overlooked, hopefully..
