Haze Strains

I've been interested in buying some Haze strains…but I'm looking for a 100% Haze, no crosses….there doesn't seem to be many options….in fact, I've come to realize that 100% Hazes are just about extinct….Ace Seeds has Green Haze, which has me interested, and goes about 16 weeks i believe…or their version of Purple Haze, which they claim to be from the Original…that goes 26+ weeks…I'm aware Haze takes forever to grow…but the results can't be beat…..I've never been a huge fan of Kush, with the exception of a few strains….people seem to love the lemon flavor of OG, which i like too, but I've had way better tasting Haze's that have got me just as, if not more stoned….Basically, what i'm asking, is there any other haze's out there other than Ace's Green & Purple Haze's that aren't crosses & closer to being 100% Haze genetics?

I'm a fan of Ace. Grew their China Yunnan, Bangi Haze (very quick and stout for a haze plant), and Malawi that had to go as they wouldn't stop vertical growth even at 14 weeks. They have great customer service too.

Still need to pop again the PCK, but they are so slow!

While I'm interested in hazes, they aren't my particular favorite in taste. I have a few haze dominate plants, and they always seem to take their sweet time.

Best of luck and I don't think you could go wrong with Ace.

thanks….yeah i realize when it comes to taste, everyone has their own preference….i think i may go with Ace's Purple Haze & their Green Haze as well….the only thing that's gonna suck is waiting for them to be ready…Haze takes forever & that's basically why it's always crossed with something to shorten flowering time….i just wanna have a as-close-as-i-can-get pure haze, because i'm convinced that every haze i've ever smoked has been crossed with something else

Bodhi's Cuban Black x Big Sur had my attention but I was a lil scared of the long flower times and possible height concerns, maybe it interests you? I have had a couple of unruly sativa's in the past that were tough to tame beasts and makes me think 2x about them.

Yep, anyone who has grown a true sativa knows they are NOT worth the effort.
I still enjoy it and I still do it, but if you are looking for a return, you will be on the very very short side.
Ridiculous flowering times, whispy buds, out of control growth. At the end you have unsellable (which doesnt matter to me) kinda weak bud that isnt much to write home about.

lol- I grew some thai in the past that took FOREVER to finish (like 16 weeks and still not all the way done), whispy thin and airy buds, had some crust but like althor said- it was almost unsellable. My friends wouldnt buy it and the only people that showed any interest were some older folks I know that most likely only bought it to reminisce of the good ole days and thai stick. I wasnt that fond of it either. Best wishes and good luck on your adventure. Just remember to keep the nutes on the light side with these plants.

I couldn't disagree more... Special plants are most certainly harder to find, but it's ridiculous to group all pure sativas as "not worth the effort."

Pure haze strains still offered: seedsman, Flying Dutchman, tom hill, ace, BCO.

We can agree to disagree. I have grown a lot of pure sativas at this point, and while I enjoy them to a degree, every time I grow a batch I know I could go with a cross that has the same type of buzz, better buds, minus all the complications, and turn out 2 and in some cases 3 batches in the same amount of time.

that Super Lemon Haze looks awesome! I've heard great things about that strain.

However, I'm looking more into pure haze's….the Super Lemon Haze i believe is 50% or less….however, it is on my "to grow at some point" list lol

I still haven't attempted a 1st grow….waiting for some things being done to my house before setting up my area….but i've been seed collecting for a couple months now, & have a very good selection of unique genetics…..i can't wait to get started….but it will be tough to decide what my 1st grow will be.

i wouldn`t want a pure haze for a first grow, they can be very finicky. it would be very disheartening if you had 19 weeks into a strain and not be able to finish it due to some sort of issue.

yeah i'm not planning to grow it 1st lol…i'm sticking to faster growers my 1st few times, that are easy grows, then advancing to the longer, harder-to-grow stuff that i want to attempt.

I have a ton of seeds i'm sitting on & plan to buy some more, to give myself plenty of options when i do finally get going.

G-13 haze from barneys farm!! Harvested it twice in 2014. Goddamn cat got into my clones of it, so have a few beans in my shopping cart right now =)

super awesome smoke, especially after a nice long cure. Was kind of a pain in the ass to grow, seemed very sensitive to nutrients. Took at least 12 weeks to flower, I always harvest before much amber starts to show for a super head high.

Very positive high. inspirational, great outlook on life. made me wanna go explore, and I wish I would have saved some for snowboarding this season. Can't wait to start some more of this kickass strain!

Maybe you should think of some Blue Dream- easy to grow, good/great yields, positive vibes "up" high and good taste. Its on the sativa side but will grow w/o many complications.

yeah i've got some of HSO's Blue Dream seeds…and also got Mr. Nice's G13 Haze

I think i'll hold off and wait till i'm more experienced to even decide on purchasing an "original" haze….even though i want one real bad, i think i have other stuff that will feed my appetite for it now haha
