hay guys is this alright

i have put a cutting in to a dark cup of water with an air stone. i also added a bit of organic rooting gel. The thing is that the water now looks like a bubble bath with load of bubbles should i throw the water away and just put plain water in or is this normal. Thanks

Just curious but, since the roots take up air and you don't yet have roots, what is the airstone's job ?
As far as the hormone gel goes, do you think putting it in the water might have diluted it to the point where it's not an effective concentration any more ?
Normally it goes onto the cut full strength.

I'd go with just water and keep changing it so it doesn't get stagnant, but I tend to keep things pretty simple.
