Grow is looking great man. Yeah, that pic you posted of the ballast in the other thread is a digital one.
As you know by now not all of them have the dial to adjust the power.
I would try craigslist for a used older one.

Summer 2011 review

100_2353.jpg 100_2355.jpg

Pictured is my veg area with all myvarious grow projects, this year i supplied my self with a constant supply ofCherry Tomatoes, Onions, Various Chile peppers and cat nip for the kitties.

100_2372.jpg

Yep as the pineapples approach oneyear old, they are looking Strong and healthy

On to the Real Plants!

well this summer i finished up 1super lemon plant yielding 48 grams

and 3 Dutch Passion Blueberry plantsyielding 80 grams

the buds were very skinny and wispydue to high temps in the grow area thus giving me a smaller yield than my normal.

100_2375.jpg100_2374.jpg

My current Baby Girls include SuperLemon Haze, Vanilla Kush, and NL5 from Greenhouse seeds, and Pyramids Osiris(another ak-47/white widow cross) These are my current favorite strains. Nextweek these will start their super cropping, however the kitties have been doingthere job at topping too!! they nibble on the leaves and my seedlings alwaysturn out much bushier, and it doesn't seem to do any harm so i let them, i meanweed eating kitties is kool lol

As promised here is my Cruz inspired super cropping methods

100_2178.jpg 100_2180.jpg 100_2179.jpg

these were about 1 week old when istarted my cropping basically folding over every shoot to an even size, alsomaking sure the stem actually breaks at the cell wall level enough to keep thestem from standing back up. a small pinch until a snap is felt is good as longas you do not snap the stem completely off they will survive and be strong forit.

if you do snap your stem to much, ifound misting with water for a couple days will help it through the rough patchuntil it regrows its stem.

As you can see i had a stem herewhich was almost completely severed, and she too recovered and became a verytiring branch.

This is a Super Lemon Haze about 20days into veg, just prior to me flowering her, she was around 13 inches tall, and very bushy!!!

100_2358.jpg 100_2361.jpg 100_2364.jpg 100_2365.jpg

Here you see the Super lemon and Osiris with vanilla Kush about 4 weeks intoflower

100_2415.jpg 100_2357.jpg

SUCCESS!!!

After 4 tries I have actually gottena Tangerine dream from Barny's farm to Germinate, with the propagation in aseedling tray, medium is rock wool cubes, and water plus rock wool startingsolution is used for nutrient pool for the cube to rest in.

Here you see the tangerines dreams seedling 2days into germination, amazing how well this works, keeping the temp andhumidity around 80 made for a perfect sprout!

October marks the first month of my new plant rotation system.

as seen on page 74 of October's issue of high times I now am starting 3 plants every 2 weeks. this will keep 9 plants in flower at all times for me which seems to be about the most i can cram under my Eye Hortilux Super HPS.

This new rotation will keep me always supplied in fresh bud! one worry i have is it Will allow for 56 days of flowering but i normally chop them at 60 days so my fingers are crossed for good results.

The new HPS bulb is worth the money, my buds have grown larger across all my strains. Lesson learned don't skimp on your bulb!!!

100_2457.jpg

My tangerine Dream Started to react badly after i had placed it to close to a 105watt CFL so after moving her back she is now developing a nice center stalk, soon i will be transferring these 3 girls to 3 gallon smart pots then their supper cropping will begin.

Also Pictured is Osiris and SLH Clone

Today also marked the first of my shortened 56 days from Flower harvest's

So now I’m using multiple strains to make blended weed mixes!

This harvest I have created Autumn Blast it’s a 1:1 mix of dried

Super Lemon Haze

Vanilla Kush

White widow / AK-47 hybrid

It makes for a knock out buzz, I mean the first time we sampled this concoction me and my buddy bout pulled a muscle laughing at what to call it.

Great taste and combined heavy hitters makes for a killer hit. Its mostly a white widow taste with lemon citrus smell.

That sounds like an awesome concoction!! I love mixing my strains. But even the slightest variation, like switching from .3 to .5 grams of a strain, can make a difference. Wait till you find the aphrodeziac mixture ;)

So this summer I picked up some pretty awesome hot sauce in upstate New York, this stuff was hot but also a pleasure to the palette this stuff was so good i went through a bottle in a few days!

Figured i would share and I completely agree with this guys stance on the legalization of Marijuana.

My First Shot at Green Hose Seeds Northen Lights 5 Haze has turned out very well!

I dont have a final dried weight but i suspect it to be a little over an oz once fully cured. This one has turned out quite well.

Its a very heavy hitter, its hard to finish an entire bowl even with 2 people, as you forget to smoke after a few hits!

Nice skunk flavor and knock out power this one is an all round winner, with the exceptin of the 77 day flower period. She does take a long time to finish but this heavy indica light sativa hybrid is well worth the wait.
