Having to harvest outdoor Sativa (Green Thai) early?

Just wondering If I am going to be able to get some decent bud off this Green Thai even if I have to harvest early.....

Ive been growing a Green House Co.'s "Green Thai" since around May 12. It is about 7 feet tall now and still really isn't showing much signs of flowering. I live in the NorthEast around Philadelphia and Delaware and the first frost will probably be Late October/Very Early November. The strain guide said it takes 14 weeks to fully finish flowering but from now to the estimated first frost is only 9 weeks. I am doing a guerrilla grow so I can't force flowering or build a green house. This is my largest plant and I was really hoping to get a good yield off of it. What do you guys think?

Thanks! :bigjoint:

Here are some pictures that I took on the 19th, so they have matured more than this since then, but these are the only pics I got:

Keep your eye on the forecast and put a sheet over it on nights when it gets too cold.

Not ideal, but early harvest is arguably worse.

I can't see the flowers very well, but my advice is to wait it out and see what happens. If if frosts take it down, it will die. Thai is good bud, but you gotta be closer to the south/equator for them to finish on time without worrying about frost. Next season try one of GHS's indica dominant strains. They will finish earlier and tolerate cooler climates anyway.

You could tie it down a bit to make it easier to cover it if neccessary. I tie them all the way down to the ground if it's very slow like that. Makes it easy to put a couple of bendable long poles in the ground like an igloo tent. You could even do this and cover with light proof plastic to boost flowering.

im in the same boat dizz. my red dragon doesnt have buds yet and im starting to worry. its sativa dominant so im probably gonna have to harvest premature.

the shitty part is that since its way out in the woods i cant just cover it at night and uncover it in the morning.

I have a real big tie going outdoors also. I had to move it out out the greenhouse last month. Its about 14 feet tall now and just getting into bud real strong this week. Im in norcal looking for the first hard rain in nov-dec. I hope mine is done by then. The grower I got the seeds from had one under lights for over a year. Let us know how its going. Ill post a tread with a pic about this dam tie peachtree I have behind the greenhouse when I have more time.
Have fun

Ive got an indica outdoors which is doing amazing. I also have a hash plant that is dragging ass compared to the indica. Im hoping to get some buds off the hash plant before it gets too cold.

I feel ya same here. Guerrilla growing. Just can't walk out an throw a tarp on and off every 12 hours like everyone is suggesting..... Its whatever, Ima have plenty of buds from my Skunk #1s. First time mistakes, wont happen again. Def gonna get some quick flowering indicas next season. Can't hate on my beloved East Coast tho.

Thanks for the advice everyone :peace:
