Having to Harvest 2 weeks early... Lots of questions

So I'm about 4 weeks into flowering for my clones and going by normal weather patterns, I only have about 2 more weeks left of flowering time before I harvest because of the cold weather. Night temperatures have been from 2-8 degrees Celsius (36-46 F) at night and anywhere from 10-20 degrees Celsius (50-68 F) during the day.
Most of my buds are still kinda small and I was wondering if I would get any growth at all in the last 2 weeks I have? All of my Trichs are still clear but because of the cold weather, most of the pistils on the tops have turned red...
Also, if I were to have a frost, but warmer weather following the next couple days (and nights), would the plants keep growing? Or will the cold shock stop their growth?
And will my trichs get cloudier with the colder weather?

I'll have pictures tomorrow!

Pictures would help alot but if your about to have a warm streak of weather then just cover your ladies up at night during the cold frosts/weather

If your plants get frosted over at night, they will die. They will not continue to grow. Your best bet would to bring them indoors and put them near a window, or harvest (which sucks because it sounds like it is way to early). Sorry dude.

Would it be possible to set up clear Garbage Bags over top of the plants so i dont have to remove them? My grow is a bit of a hike away and I wouldnt be able to uncover them in the morning when the sun comes up.

in my area the first frost just helps things along...in your area it may be different...but to simply say frost will kill your plants is wrong...don't rely on what you read online...do your own testing as different geographical regions will dictate different requirements...then again...I grow mostly in the dirt...yanking early cos of a bit of frost is not happenin'...if it gets to a heavy frost I'll simply put my box fan on 'em at night...moving air hinders frost....just my thoughts on frost and herb...;)

Very nice pix. Watch the low night time temps. I've never done an outdoor grow and I'm at a disadvantage because of that. But they certainly look frosty enough, or most of them do, to harvest now. If you want to wait, I like the garbage bag idea. Or burlap around chicken wire fencing. You did a nice job, it'd be a shame not to reap the rewards.

Your plants look great weedboy, if you let them go a little longer they will really pack it on. But as to answer your question, if you put a bag on your plant it still needs to breathe in CO2 so i dont see how that would be possible if you left it on. how long would you be gone for? they might be okay for a 2 day window, i have never left my bags on longer than overnight. You could harvest some and put bags on the rest and come back when you can

I can only let them go about 2 weeks longer... MAX. And I can check them every day, but I dont come home until about 4pm... Do you think this is long enough? I really dont want this to turn out shitty... How much more growth do you think I can expect in the next 2 weeks?

just cover them up at night when the temp is supposed to drop below freezing then uncover them as soon as you can.

Ive already had a 28 degree F night and my plants are looking just fine. i covered them with plastic

can any1 help me ive got 1strawberry blue, dried it in black crepe paper in a cupboard,it's grand to smoke tastes a bit homegrown but the kick is great ive even had a few mates who asked me 2 sell em a bit but alas it's only my own smoke i'm after,i had 2 hawaiin snow bout 6ft tall, the flowering time for these is a bitch(10-12wks)and all was well then in 1 day both plants looked like they where dead bout 1wk into flowering, they came back to life thank god.1 plant is fairing better than the other, one is back to proper green n fresh the other looks a bit yellow and on this ive found a bit of rot it looks grey n it's like it affects parts where ive trimmed or a branch has been injured, any ideas?a few branches broke off n i dried it out n low n behold it was as good as if not better than the amnesia i was buying,so ive decided to hack up the sick plant early n work on flowering the healthy one,i really wanna do it properly with the good 1 as H.S. is supposed to be kickass, hope so,thank you one and all for any comments or advice as this is my 1st grow.jayindublin
