Having problems vegging with my hps

As of now Im vegging and flowering with my 150w sun system HPS. My plants just dont seem to be vegging as well under the HPS as they did under my cfl's. My question is would it be better to get some a two 2 foot tube light and run a few HO t5's? Then go back to the HPS for flowering?

Hps are best for flowering,a combination of the two would work great for veggin.I have two 105w cfl's i use for veggin and switch to a 150w hps and two 85w cfls for flowering.OPH

Maybe google 'metal halide conversion lamps'. New to this myself, from what I read it seems like metal halide is better for vegging, and hps is better for flower. Like more blue light (metal halide is pretty blue) for vegging, and more red light (hps is more red) for flower. Light spectrum thing.

yea I think ill look into getting a few t5's for vegging. where did you guys get yours?
