Having Kids?Your Thoughts

just messing with ya. she was my younger sisters best friend and her family was an abbusive bunch. so when she ran away my sister brought her to my house to stay. we ended up messing around and fell in love. we just celebrated our 25th wedding annivesry. i did drive her back and forth to school.

I have never wanted children. I don't think life is all that great. it's ok, i would say 35% good and the rest bad/struggles. I don't see why i would bring someone into this life. i think people do it as a distraction from the sadness of reality. it's a great distraction. i would be much happier if i had kids. maybe i would say the world was 80% good and 20% bad but i am not going to bring a person into the world to make my life better. you have to want to give someone a good life. i know if i had a child i would give them the best i could and i am a goodhearted peron with a stable home life and i don't work so it would be nice for me to have them but really, why? we are all just waiting to get old and die LOL. sorry to be morbid.

i may adopt a girl or sisters from China. I think that would solve the problem. they are already here, they aren't going anywhere and it can't get worse than the orphanage. the only thing i can provide them is a better life than they have. i don't need to carry on a last name or have someone to take care of me when i am old. i don't need someone next to my bed when i die. just put a pillow over my face.

people think they are a fucken saint because they got knocked up and popped out a kid, it's u sually mostly a selfish act sorry to say. many of these kids grow up to be self-entitled brats who never learned how to do anything for themselves and have no potential to ever lead a desirable life.

also, no one with a kid would ever be honest enogh to say they regret it... let's just get that straight. i am very thankful to not have kids, i can do what i want when i want.

i do have pets and i love them dearly.

I didn't have my first child til I was 35 and financially stable, my wife was only 20 and still in college.
I chose not to have them younger because I saw all my friends struggling and i was all set on that. Instead I worked my ass off paid off my house and traveled and had a hell of a good time.
Then I got trapped. lol
Its all good though I love my family so much.

And we are expecting another little girl in August.

My wife wants a kid. I'll give her one next year probably. It could be fun. Giving her the kid will be fun.

Also I think similarly to you having kids later on. I think i`ll do the same. If I never get married I`ll probs get an orphan and give him an awesome time. Like medicalmaryjane said, you`ll never feel bad if your not the very best of parent.

Though I`d love my child to look like me. I would propably see him following the same tracks as me asking the same questions with a similar face, it would be an awesome trip that way :)

Damn thats pretty fucked up to view life like that lol,Its really not that bad.Take a happy pill once in a while lol.
I do agree with you about not having kids though,Its so great to not have kids lol I see what people go through.
I got a girl pregnant but she had an abortion.I think that was the best decision for both of us though,we were both way to young at the time to take in that responsibility and I would of been locked up when the kid would of been born.I couldn't live with myself if I was booked for the birth of my child.

But someday I'll have a couple,hopefully boy and a girl.Im fully capable of raising them now but I aint bout to knock up some random girl lol.

lol sorry, i had abad day and i was being negative. i still stand by what i said, i admit it wasnt' very nice but i don't want kids. luckily my bf is into whatever i want. i love him so much so it works out well.

I have 2 kids 32 and 26,im 49 and ive been married 31 years.I was a kid when i started having kids,work hard do the right thing and love them and they will be fine no matter what age you are.My daughter who was born when i was had just turned 17 is a university professor,she waited till she was 30 to have her first kid,my son has a different girl leave his room almost every morning and is quite content right now.
A good friend of mine has a saying "everyone fucks different",dont worry about what your friends or other people are doing just do what feels right to you,the rest will work itself out.

Plus they cast a "your a parent get your act together" vibe on you. Jeez, if you have a dog you can`t really go travelling without having someone to look after it... What the hell do you do with a kid if you want to go away for months and go to raves and festivals? Sounds like losing your freedom to me.

Also the fact that they may turn into a right little bastard lol

I`ll propably end up having kids if I get married but I can`t see what all the enthusiasm and looking forward to is about. lolz

Do you have kids? How old were you when you had them, how old are you now and how many kids do you have? (hop on the firing line please :))

My mother had me at 19 and I couldn't imagine a different age gap. She tutored me way ahead of preschool, ended up marrying my father and works in a film studio- but I think that was down to mental maturity (about 10 years advanced I think...) and abilty to economise, raising me on very little as she refused to accept handouts. I think she wanted to make a point and prove to everyone that she wasn't just a lazy irresponsible knocked up teenager. She's still damn hot too, which is only a problem because people often assume we're lesbians 0_o
