Brown spots that seem random. No drooping. No yellowing anywhere.

I spotted what was probably an early case of powdery mildew 2 days ago and sprayed with baking soda & water mix. (2 tbs\gal) that day. Could these spots be related to that?

That happened to me early on, when I had a water droplet on a leaf. They act like little magnifying glasses, and can cause stuff like that.

Just a thought...
I did the spray early in the AM & it hasn't gotten worse. I think that was the problem. Thank you.

They look like water damage spots that can happen when one leaf is draped over another and the moisture given off by the top leaf forms a 'sweat' on top of the lower leaf and that area goes brown just like in your pic. No light involved.

Nothing to worry about. Get more oscillating fan action to move the leaves around more and that won't happen.
