MAN I LOVED THE OLD SKUNKS.
I have also been looking for a strain that smells like DEAD SKUNK! NO FRUIT. lol
WHO KNOWS IF THE ARE STILL AROUND?

Magnus gentics Warlock is stinky skunky, Big Buddah cheese is another skunk still going strong.
The best one ive ever tasted was Red Dwarf autoflower by Buddah seeds sweet an skunky.

They reek....
But they dont smell like a dead skunk in the road.
I remember weed like that, havent seen it since the 90s.

The flying dutchman has the origional skunk #1 from skunk man eddie.
But its kinda fruity-ish who made the Skunkiest smelling skunk?

An interesting and highly potent flashback to the original Skunk plants and their forebears, to a time when the Sativa elements of the famous hybrid were more pronounced. The original Skunks were bred from Afghani, Mexican and Columbian cannabis. As true-breeding seed strains and later hybrids were developed, Afghani genes have become the dominant influence in most Skunk varieties. Skunk Classic gives growers a taste of old-school Skunk by back-crossing Skunk #1 with a high-pedigree Columbian mother. The result is a heavy, pungent plant that produces long, solid, buds bursting with resin. Her effect is high and happy.
Flowering: 50 – 60 days
Yield: 100 gr
Height: 120 – 160 cm

But realy low yeild.....

Reseriva privada is a realy popular new company that has a Shit stinking skunk also, with better yield.

If you’re looking for that stinky, sticky green that smells like a skunk, this would be the strain for you. High calyx to leaf ratio and good yields makes the R.K.S. the perfect plant to grow indoors or out. She will finish in the first week of October outside, and if this strain is grown inside, good carbon filtration is a must because she will stink. She’s got a great old school flavor with a high that is up and very strong.
Afghani x Columbian x Thai
60% Sativa : 40% Indica
Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks
Yield: 400-600g/m2

I highly doubt the original skunk you had 10 years ago is still being sold today... I'm pretty sure its been inbred and the original lost.

the only way I think we as stoners can get it back is to smuggle back seeds from afghanistan like what happened with the original skunk....

I don't think it's around anymore. they sell all sorts of skunk and skunk crosses - and skunk#1. but none of it is real skunk weed like was around 10 or 20 years ago. I don't know what happened to it or what strain the skunk weed I used to smoke even was but I haven't seen it for at least 10 years

I remember that "old" skunk weed. When I first started smoking (I didn't even know what skunk weed was) a buddy had some and I picked up the bag and smelled it. I got a funny look on my face and said "man that smells rotten", the whole room erupted in laughter.

I second the Flying Dutchman The PURE.....old time skunk...if you can find them.....great bud!
and I second that anything the flying dutchman has skunk wise is a cross, and is hyping it up as the original to get profit. don't feed into that bullshit.
