Have To Squeeze In 2 Good Runs, Need Help Regarding Timing, Cloning Etc... (Coco)

So sometime in April next year the landlord may or may not pay a visit to my place. Until then I have to complete this operation. If i start next month, i figured i could squeeze in two runs.

I only have one flowering tent (Darkroom 120) and one smaller tent (Darkrooom 100) for clones.

The thing is I'm planning something completely new to me, as my only experience in growing is SCROGGING feminized seeds. I have never bothered with cloning, or growing regular seeds.

This time, I'm planning to grow some dank REG seeds kinda SOG style, then run the best from the first batch for a second run in a Scrog.

The plan is:

x fill the larger flowering tent with 30 reg seeds, veg them, then take clones

x get rid of males

x Clones will be rooting in veg tent (approx 15 fems), while mothers (approx 15) will be flipped to flower in the flowering tent

x After around 6 weeks from cut, the 15 clones would prolly be starting to fill the veg tent, that's why i plan on taking clones from them again, then move forward with the 2nd generation clones and get rid of the 1st gen clone (to save space)

x Harvest moms, move in 6- 8 2nd gen clones from the chosen moms

x scrog the 2nd run, til finish

But as I said, I'm a newbie to this and i'm not sure if my plan works.
Timing is very important, also i could run out of space in my first run if i let 30 reg seeds veg for too long. So my questions:

1. How long should i veg the 30 REGs in my first run? Of course i will get rid of the males - i'm thinking 25-30 days? Final height should be 2ft max.

2 a) At how many days in veg (from seedlings), or at how many nodes can I take clones at the earliest time?

2
Alternatively, would it be possible to take clones a few days after the flip?

3. I'm running a DTW Coco system, can i run the first batch in 1 gal pots from start to finish?

4. How soon can i take a 2nd gen clone from a 1st gen clone? Possible 3 weeks after 1st gen clone has rooted? (for space management in veg tent)

That's it for now... thanks a lot!

By the way, I'll be gowing Cheeseberry Haze, Chucky's Bride and Pineapple Diesel from Sannies Shop
A few Vortex and Deadhead OG beans from Attitude.

Forgot to add, the first run will be Coco, but when I take the 1st gen clones, I plan to plant them in soil. In soil, the 1st gen clones would need less maintenance during those approx 6 weeks they need until i can take the 2nd gen clones from them. The 2nd gen clones will be grown in Coco again... will the change in medium cause any issues?

clones don't really need much for nutrients.. i don't even dip mine in clone solution.. just straight into 3 inch nursery containers with coco and into a clear tote and a single 13w LED... mist the lid with water at least 3 times per day until your plants start to grow..

4 week veg. they won't flower for 4 weeks or so regardless of light schedule.. takes time for the plant to mature

Thanks for the info.
So lets say i veg the mother for about 4 weeks then take the largest shoot, which maybe as long as a pinky finger.... how long after the cut would it take for that clone to resume growth?

I usually let my plants go 40 days in veg before the flip. It would then take 14-18 days after the flip until the plant starts to produce more pistils.
So the shorter the veg period, the longer the transition period... i gotcha.

i like to wait until right before flowering to clone but anytime you want to works.. just a matter of how much space you have, strain, and how good you are at controlling height.
