anyone know how i can help lower temp? i run the light at night to help with the heat issue but it still gets up to 90degrees in there with the light on
stays cooler during the day. im thinking of a way to get an exhaust fan going. not really sure how thou cause its really just a tarp i painted and hung to the ceiling.
really the best i can do at the time, do plan on building a room now:-Pafter this harvest

nicely done. you can't get a cheap air conditioner maybe? or how about just opening the thing up at lights on and an oscillating fan to circulate air around?

yeah thanks ub, tried opening it up last night with the fan blowing in lowered to about 88.
think i might need that ac though still to hot. the light did not come with that glass panel dont know if that has anything to do with it

Well obviously your "tent" is for stealth I can see right through it. All its doing is trapping heat from the light around the plants. Get rid of that thing and the heat will be better distributed among the whole room instead of mostly on your plants. I assume you built it to hide the plants from the landlord? Keep it around for when the landlord is coming over and keep it off or open when he isn't. Open is better than not but I personally would just remove the whole thing and shove the plants in a closet or something when I know the landlord is stopping by. Just my 2 cents.

Also if the ballast is in your enclosure move it to outside of it. Magnetic ballasts put off a lot of heat for such s small area.

haha my "tent" was put up to help with the dark period. the garage does not stay completely dark during the day as i run my lights at night.

i did start to open it up at night to help with the heat. the plants are 4 n 5 feet tall so i cant stick them in a closte no room. n the ballast is out side the room thanks for the input man

Dude get a cheap 400 watt Hps with a magnetic ballast from htg supply or some other outfit. Home depot dosen't carry anything that's gonna bid out plants that size

ya thanks man, ended up getting a 400w ballast do yoou think the light is strong enough for a 5ft wide x 3.5 ft deep area

No the 400 isn't going to get the lower branches very well. But you're better off than where you started

yes i am, thanks for the feedback i didnt think it was reaching them very well either i think i might read into cloning a little bit

n try n clone a couple of the lower branches for experience doesnt look like they're going to produce much nug anyways
