I see pre flowers but no bud yet. When do they start stretching?
Have plants started flowering yet in southern Cali?

August 11, will be 3-weeks since daylight dropped below 14 hr. on June 22, @ 33-degrees latitude. I'd guess by Aug. 15 the first tuffs should appear. I have a few "solar walkway lights" that are within sight of the greenhouse. I'm moving those nite lites to put the GH in total darkness (except for the motion lights and alarm).

Stretching takes place the first 1-3 weeks of flower. Bud doesnt appear overnight.....it wont start looking too interesting until around week 4-5.

I'm in full blown budlet mode rite now! I put everything outside exactly on solstice..Everything is starting to form flowers pretty hardcore now. I love this part of the flower cycle. It's when you get a glimpse of how thing are going to turn out.. Now it's time to watch the bud structure form...And the trychomes start a GROWING

Now until the 4th week of flower would be the time to use (1) tsp of Epsom Salts per gallon H2o, to build calyx crystals. After the 4th week of flower, creating more calyx's would mean they wouldn't mature by harvest-time. E.S. are the only booster I add during flowering.

why have i never heard of this before thank you so much i always used it but never know it did that so it works kinda the same with peppers to make them hotter

Out west at least, everything has bloomed earlier (strawberries) and the fertilizing season 15-15-15 for ornamental and fruit trees are applied a month later, due to lack of overnight dew oncoming Sept., until October..... all slated to be a bounty+ of crops for a year or two, and then we'll enter into "heat decline" for crops, from what I've researched - but would eagerly accept a rosier weather-cast.

We'll all thank farmer together as one... I'll thank Maurice from the Indian nation, for the insight into stopping Epsom Salts at the 4th week of flower (not bloom). Farmer thanks him too for the tip.
Farmer and Maurice both belong to the KISS (keep it simple, etc.) consortium of "thrift in agriculture".
I think the competitive issue of the day is, "not where you get your Epsom Salts, but how cheap can one purchase them". Cannabis reacts to the sulfur in E.S., peppers might also.

Simplicity is fine...Cheap is good..Free is better...I have enlisted the help of my kids rabbit. To produce rabbit shit...I also got my kid a wormery for fresh castings..A huge compost pile..All I have to do is start raising bats and I'll be home free
