the following ec readings are using blulabs truncheon...

i have 11 females flowering , they were vegged @ ec1.5 , at the start of flowering this was upped to ec2.0 and kept it to this for 1wk.. 2nd feed in flower i raised it to ec 2.4 ,,, they are 11 days into flower now and have been on ec2.4 for 4 days.. just b4 i raised the ec at day 7 the plants looked a little limey in colour which i believed to be underfeeding as there was no signs of any burn... since upping the nutes i havnt noticed any change in the overall colour and the they still look a little bit limey,,, some of the bigger fan leaves look kindov marbled and there are some leaves which right at the tips of the fingers looking burnt but its only the 1st millimeter.. kinda looks white on tips or yellowy white from a distance, not burnt and brown like nute burn.

there are some leaf stems showing red which wasnt there before? there is no redness on the main stems yet.... could i be underfeeding ?? i know with the strength im at it will prob be overfeeding..

what are the 1st signs of underfeeding appart from the obviouse limey colour.??

will take a few leafs off n post pics in a few min just to see if any of you can tell me or have an idea of whats going wrong...

you might not see anything really wrong with the leafs but they are light in colour and there is alot of leafs turning this way on all the plants...
, you will see the smallest leaf with the light tips and you can also see 1 of the close-ups where the vains in the leaf are turning red....

hope this helps...

yeah 1680ppm , ive always fed strong in the past without any probz and have achieved ec levels of over 4.0+ with some grows ,, its because i root my clones @ an ec of 1.4 ,, most wudnt but i believe the clones need to be treated lyk the plants they came from and need fed the same strength.. , once vegging i up strength to 1.8 , start of flower im @ 2.0-2.2 and each wk thereafter i raise ec by 0.4 . peak feed @ wk4 thru 5 ec "usually" 3.0-3.6

there isnt any sign of nutrient burn tho so its got me a lil confused lol.. maybe its early signs of burn but cant say for sure.. had to re-callibrate my ph pen yesterday and it was 0.3 off so when it was reading say 5.6 it was actually 5.3..

if your using the same meter u always have and you have had good results with your nutrient schedule then are you using diff genetics? What nutes are you using thou im curious? That sounds dangerously like a nute schedule from a manufacturer. I have only seen stinkbud run ppms that high using those canna nutes. Are you growing massive plants or small SOG?

More info about your lighting and temps could help.

pictures of the entire plant would also help. I do agree thou its difficult to believe you are underfeeding unless these plants are like 5 feet tall.

hi gvega ,, yes this time ive added diff strains (superskunk and ak47's) ,,, ive had the lemonskunk for around 1 year and it usually likes high strength feeding and thats the strain ive had over ec 4.0 but this time i wanted to go a little lower and now im seeing probz arrise.. the nutes are greenhaze grow/bloom 2 part feed... on the bottle it says ideal ec should be 2.0 and ph 6.0 but ive always finished @ an ec of 30+

i dnt go with any schedules , i just start high n end high m8... lighting = 1x600w and 1 x 400w hps roughly 14-18inches above the plants ,,, temps can reach the high 80's at the canopy and stays low 80's at ground level and humidity is arround 50-60%
all plants are btween 24 and 32inches tall,,,

i will try n post pics of the whole plants in a few min m8.

That sounds really high, have you checked the calibration of your meter? distilled water should have an EC of 0

hi ak , i havnt checked the truncheon since it was bought years ago so yeah it could be giving the wrong reading m8 but im adding alot of nutes so maybe its still ok.. roughly adding 70-100ml each part into 20 litres..

was gona add pics but every1 i took looked fine with the camera and didnt show the probz i was seeing.. i upped the ec and the colour is returning to normal now so i must have been underfeeding..

thank for all the help tho guys,,, was appreciated... you can see my plants in my journal but dnt click the link below coz it takes you to 1 of my old journals... will fix that soon tho lol...
