Have 2 bagseedlings with 3 true nodes - when to switch lights?

Heya RIU community, how're they growing?

I have been growing these 2 (+ runt) for the past two weeks or so. I removed a similar homemade humidome from the 2 taller babies yesterday for the first extended period.
I just decided not to put them back on, but I'm confident they could handle more light with enough distance, right?
I have 185cm (6') of tent height, and they are currently 11-12 cm (4.3" - 4.7") away from the single 46W CFL; the seedlings are 7-8 cm (2.75" - 3.1") tall, excluding the runt, whose stalk I mostly buried upon transplant into solo cup.
The runt already has two sets of true leaves, albeit tiny/retarded ones.

So how much longer should I keep them under just the CFL before putting up my 250W MH bulb?

They are growing in 50-50 promix with about 20% vermiculite, and I have only given them one (weak) feeding with Fast Roots. I watered the two older seedlings with plain pH'd water on Saturday.

How much longer should I keep them in solo cups before they get rootbound? The finishing pots are 15L smartpots.

Growth is relatively slow in all mj plants the first two weeks, roots are doing more growing than topside. Your growth rate will now accelerate.

Lose the humidity domes, they are not advised for seedlings as they greatly increase your chances of damping off.

You can switch to MH lights whenever you want.

I start in seedling trays, go to solo cups at 2 weeks, then 1 gallon after another two weeks. Good luck!

As for watering, though, what time of their day is best for root development?? Water them just before their night cycle or right at the beginning of their day cycle? Is it okay to water in the middle of their day cycle?

I'm thinking about doing a feeding for my next watering -- probably tomorrow morning (around 8:30 am, 30 min prior to night cycle)! (currently 8:05 pm here). The solo cup for the further along seedling is starting to get pretty light.

Morning or lights on is preferred for watering time, but if they need it (wilting), don't wait. I'm not sure if your pro mix has nutes or not. If it does, no need to feed until at least 3 weeks after last transplant.

Okay, roger that.
My promix is 50 turf - 50 perlite.
It has no nutes (or hardly any at aaalll) - I specifically did not buy the Organic Light Promix.

I gave them a weak feeding upon transplant, which was about two weeks ago now (lol, should have written down the days), but they both got plain pH'd water last Saturday, and the more robust of the two is starting to get a little light in the cup.

I was thinking of giving them another weak feeding - fert bottle says "1 mL/L for 1st week of veg", but I probably used 0.2-0.3 mL Fast Roots/L water.
I was thinking of giving them like 0.3-0.5 mL/L for the next feeding, but I have no idea how long it takes for them to use up the tiny amount I gave them.
Then again, their jiffy pellets were soaking in weak nutrient water prior to receiving the seeds...
Perhaps they've got enough? Idk, I just have this [impatient] feeling that if I give them a tiny bit of food now, they won't go hungry later/their growth will pick up (they are still going, just, y'know, not super fast :b ).

I'm definitely afraid of overferting them. Should I instead give them more plain pH'd water and feed them at next watering after that??

Also, would it be better for me to water them at lights ON and already put them under 250W MH or water them at lights ON and wait a day before putting them under 250W MH? I just don't want their growth potential to suffer because I kept them too long under a puny 46W CFL (not that they have amazing potential, they are just brickweed bagseed).

This is the root stimulator I have been using. 100% organic it says on the bottle.

Your over thinking it. Water when they need it and put them under the MH whenever.

If no nutes in your medium then you will need to provide them. Sorry, can't help with your feed rate, I'm not familiar with your product, but starting light sounds smart.

Greetings, taking and keeping notes/log will advance you further in learning and problem solving. #EmpiricalData

What are the plants saying? Slow growth, yellowing, necrosis, spots etc. Clones need food day 1, seeds not so much. Feed in the morning of the cycle time.

My last seeds got a nute shot @ 850 ppm/1.7 EC in week 2 and pretty sure the Coco they are in was hot from last run and full of root bits. Only gave them that and in week 4 now and still don't look like they are hungry. Could be I water with myco and castings teas in between or the Benes are converting the organic sheet in the pots.. Sorry pretty random!

Some focus on above soil but under the soil is the engine that drives everything. Make good roots and plant will reflect it.
Full doses of root sheet. Prolly a PGR and some helpful bacillus strains.

#Flower when you feel the need.

I gave them plain pH'd water this time (5 nights after the last plain watering) at the beginning of their day cycle and they are responding pretty well (it would seem) to 250W MH I put ~160 cm away from them (will move closer as required).
It's super bright in there, so I daren't put the bulb too close.

So, mini-update: both of the taller seedlings are working on their 4th set of leaves, and the runt is showing progress, albeit runt-like slow progress, progress nonetheless.
The taller/stretchier seedling's cotyledons have started to yellow/necrotize on the tip. Does this mean that the plant is getting hungry, or is early stage of disease? Seems normal to me, but then again, what do I know at this point?

It's normal. It's tossing off unnecessary leafs.
I had a runt I thought had no chance, hit it with a myco/molasses/Kelp tea and it took off few days later.(root zone).

No, only three. I feel like I should start more, but they would be almost 1 month behind the current ones :/
Even if I started an automatic seed, I'd have to continue to veg these 3 for another 70 days, and there's no telling how stretchy these bagseed babies will be.

These 3 were just the 3 survivors - the plants that were lucky to be alive when I realized what I had been doing wrong to several seedlings before them..

You're about two weeks ahead of my first grow!! I'm starting with six tho! Everything's been going so well for me. All of my seeds survived and I'm about two days til Veg stage when I'll change out my light to be MH. Good luck with your three! Looks good
