Hate asking for help, but here i am...

Not sure what the deal is here, thought I'd never have to come to this subforum, but here I am

70 coco / 30 perlite
Temps are 27 to 28 degrees lights on, i know way too hot, new fans on the way...
65% RH
GH flora pro 2 part solid fert, about 70% grow to 30% micro ratio
I'm in hard water, 230 ppm from the tap, new to the city. Im used to near 0 put the tap.
Adding AN sensi cal but i'm not precise with it maybe 20 ml in my 60L tank
Feeding at about 800 ppm at 6.0 ph
Runoff is 700 ppm 6.7 ph
High power LED, COB and 1700e
I irrigate 3 times a day with run off

My buddy says I'm under feeding. I think I messed something up, usually I'm fine at 800 ppm. Not sure if I have a deficiency, lock out or...? I added a table spoon of Epsom salts to the res today, but im not sure thats the correct solution.

I know my floraflex flooded the other day with water that wasn't PH'd (6.8). But these plants have been yellow for a while. The cement shoes in the picture is by far the worst of the bunch.

Whats the strain?
This one is supposed to be cement shoes from Canuk seeds, the worst genetics in my tent. I have about 5 different strains in there with multiple phenos from seed. This particular one is doing the worst, the others are a bit yellow but not as bad and no brown spots yet.

If you already have minerals in the water I’d ease up on the sensi cal. You could be giving too much causing the lockout. Feed the lowest ph you can for your medium mix. Not sure your run off ph is supposed to be high in coco.

Calmag @ 60ml per 60L .Your lights are causing the Ca deficiency, probably too close.I have hard water also, lots of Ca in it but i still need 1ml/l calmag.

Hello, can you explain that? How to know if the lights are responsible? Can I tell from LUX or has to be ppfd? Thanks.

Was really just a guess. Many here have experienced issues with the power of the leds. If this is first time with them it could be responsible.
Not my first LED run, but it is my first run with the Gavita LED. I don't have it dimmed (no dimmer) so it's full blast but it's almost 4 ft above canopy, the COB rig is less powerful and about 3 ft above canopy.

I upped the calmag, added a bit of Epsom salt boosting total PPM to 900.

Yeah this is my dilemma with the hard water, am I too high with the Calmag or too low? Maybe I should invest in an RO machine.

I believe the tap is going way past 6.2 after its poured. Tap water fights like hell to be in the 7.0-7.5 range.

Hence, why its 6.7 run off.

Look to me as though ya need to give them a ec of 1 for a couple of days with a touch of seaweed , get them bouncing back .
Wouldn't say it's the light as it's coming from the bottom of the plant up ,

Are you using the hard water micros or the regular? Have you looked up the water report for your area to see how high your calcium carbonate level is? Maybe start being more precise with the sensi cal as well which contains magnesium so I don't think you should need epsom salts on top. Sensi cal says 2ml / L so maybe the roughly 20ml in your 60L tank is too low.

Yep, I checked the report calcium is fairly high, magnesium lower, but I've been getting mixed info as to whether or not the calcium/mag in tap water is actually usable for plant uptake ?

Regardless I upped the cal mag to 60 ml and increased overall PPM to 950 and things are looking a lot nicer in just 48 hours. The cement shoes still looks shabby so I may toss it but the rest look fairly green now.

Yeah I get the cal buildup on my trays and in my hydro res. My tap is full of Ca but it’s not usable for the plants. Some strains don’t need the calmag. But some can just be hogs. Lol.
