So I'm growing some Black Widows and I notice one them has that strange white looking tip and after a quick once over with the 30x it's obvious the bud's tipped. I could see that there's no chloroform over the calyxes, they've just got a hint of yellow which is probably xanthophyll/violaxanthin turning to zeaxanthin to deal with all the light intensity, (thank you Ed R ). Now the last time I did this was with a BS240 and a Super Lemon Haze plant, but I assumed I just fucked up and bleached my plant. So my question for anyone out there is, should I just keep growing this plant like this, it's about 4 1/2 weeks into flowering, or should I drop back my panels back? Is 4 weeks too early to 'tip" a plant and I'm just going to kill it? Take a look.
2 other things;
1) I bet it doesn't take too much 660nmm to do this if the article's author is correct about this response. 4 to 6 three watters should do it. Something with a 650 to 665 peak would be great I think.
2) We should call it "keefing", after all the keif you can make doing this. And also for Keith Richards, a somewhat ignored pothead and probably the last white man who knows where to get Jamaican Lamb's Bread . Plus it sounds cooler than Hash Tipping. Like I'm some fuckin' hick pushing over a cow .
