That's the point man, keeping your head lol. But ok, first your gonna keep it close I take it, like your yard so watering should not be an issue. You could set it up using light deprivation so it's done quicker or go with an auto. Pick one that has minimal odour, you'll need to research that one, all mine stink except the DR Greenthumb Oh Zone I've got going now which has minimal odour. Is hash not available there cheap?
Thanks b, much appreciated. I have an outdoor storage room that can be used for concealment and flowering purposes as well. Also worst case If the smell gets bad I can stash it in there when out of control.

Hash is not cheap anymore, A lot to do with the war in ****** and further restrictions on borders... but that's not the reason I'm doing this... More of because I just miss my sweet green friends, and there's nothing to lose... worst case scrap the whole grow :)

Plus the hash here is far from pure, being the only form of cannabis available here... these guys cut the shit out of it
.. never know what you're smoking.

Start with your soil if you want the likelihood of your outdoor plants to succeed you. Put together some awesome soil. I like the idea of keeping things organic so I have Black Kow bagged cow manure, blood&bone meal, and a biobizz bottled nutrient line to work with into my plant's soil;
but I'm newbing it out and taking things real slow going into a small personal grow schedule that will suit me as it's decriminalized here because frankly I like the state, so I've yet to dig into the many adventures of experimenting with the perfect organic soil and I want to do that.

Next thing you want to make your biggest catch is pest control. In my area my biggest pest is bugs called rollie pollies, otherwise known as the pill bug. I regularly drop diatomaceous earth onto the ground, and hit my stock with neem.
You bring up some good points, 2 of my main concerns... I was also a little worried about dust and it's consequences on yield and plant health.

I definitely have to look into a good soil combo, none of the American brands available here, will have to do some research and post up pics and perhaps let you guys decide on what's best.

Best of luck with your grow!

Yeah, a really low odour strain would be the best, something with a low flowering time as well. You should also plant a shit ton of other plants as well (if you're going to grow in your back yard) That way you always have an excuse to water, inspect etc. and the foliage will help mask the cannabis.
So the hash plant is pretty much all I have, so not much room to experiment with strains at this point. I tried to look for info as to how stinky it is gonna get, couldn't find much... so gonna take it 1 step at a time.

Great idea to plant other shit in the backyard. We already have a bunch of aloe plants and random shit growing outdoors, so will definitely add more to help conceal her in plain sight. I like the way you think ;)

Holy fuck 33C, nice. Anyway I would gradually take her outside to harden her off, a sudden change in climate could shock her. Also you should LST her as much as possible to keep her nice and low.

Thank you for that.. I officially started transitioning her to the outdoors today. Few hours and then back to LED. Will continue to do this over the span of a week. She does seem to be getting a little tall, so I will definitely need to begin reading up on some LST techniques soon. :)

LST is a good way to cut down the plant's profile
1 plant does not show up as much as multiples
the smell will be the challenge

There's a difference between tall and stretchy, how's that light distance coming along?
Sorry, wrong term. It was definitely looking stretchy, not tall.
The light is literally an inch or 2 away. I threw some soil on there as advised, so it should help. Also its heavy on the indica from what I read, so based on genetics, should be short and bushy. But we shall seeee...

Looking good, I myself hate thais stage, maybe because I must have started 10 seeds and never got past the beggining of vegetation.

You should definitely top her, so she becomes even more bushier. I'm pulling up a chair for this one. :D

Oh noway... when you say didn't make it past the beginning of vegetation do you mean never got to flowering? Or died within first few weeks? I really thought I was past the hard part lol... I've done clones before, new to seeds.

I'm glad you're in for the show my friend, will need some experienced eyes on this one :)

Oh don't worry, I was a total newb back then and loved them to death by overwatering, over fertilizing, frying them etc. so I'm pretty used to seeing a small little seedlings, as opposed to fully mature flowering plants. :D

I've actually never done clones, so I'll have to try one day.

Good luck with your grow! I've grown quite a few hash plants and I don't think you'll have any worries with the smell. I never found mine to be overpowering in odor. I could smell them but there are way stnkier ones out there. You'll love the smoke!

I hear you... it's been so long since i've grown. I miss it, and i'm totally worried I will over-love her. Gonna keep my distance for now lol. Still haven't worked out exactly when to water her... just judging by soil for now. Can't wait till she's older and a little more resilient.

You the man... I really needed to hear that from someone who's had experience growing this strain. Definitely puts me at a greater peace of mind. Thanks :)
